    Let me explain when TO use it as a tank.

    If there is a caster mob out of a group, toss it back into the group.

    If there is sleep going on... dunno why there would be, but for sake of the argument... have the tank move the pack away from the sleep so overpowers don't wake it up. Then boot the thing into the pack as a wakeup call when the time is right.

    Otherwise, don't move my mobs around on me.

    Simple?

    Quite contrary. I read and dismissed the OP as he/she pretty much decided to annoy his/her group willfully. The rest of the thread had discussed how annoying the knockback is.

    Knocking back non-primary targets makes the tank/party take less damage and can interrupts casts. Freeing up the healer to do more damage themselves. You can be the tank without having absolutely everything hitting you. Yet everyone that breaks sleeps seems to think they can't which is even more annoying.
    Only undergeared tanks and healers need crowd control like sleeps and knockbacks. It is up to either to speak up and be honest with the group that they need to make use of them. Stone/Stone2, Aero all you want. FA is a nuisance to just about everyone but the conjurer and archer.

    even for conjurer can be a nuisance, in case it goes out of cast range while casting a skill, only to be interrupted (in 8 men content... if that ever happens).

    Edit: i.e. both whm doing some DPS, one of them decided to cast FA on the same target the other whm was attacking with stone/stone II.

    as a tank i am finding this ridiculous. fluid aura is really nice why is everyone trying to get people to stop using it? if tanks cant adapt to the full skillset of other classes, then they're kinda bad tanks. it's not the whm's fault.

    its pretty simple:


    1. pull group of enemies
    2. flash twice
    3. whm use fluid aura on last enemy that would be attacked
    4. group takes less damage, enemy returns to tank

    3. whm use fluid aura on last enemy that would be attacked knocking it out of the AOE's and other dmg so that now it lives longer in the end rather than dying with the rest of the pack.
    4. group maybe takes less damage, enemy takes less damage for sure and dies slower
    Fixed that for you.
