This is the ultimate proof of what an idiot is.
What about if the tank decided he doesnt want to flash, and aggro a pack of monsters and attack one only? What if DPS decides to go on a Sprint rampage and aggro everything from the beggining of the dungeon untill first boss? They are doing what they want, but doesnt mean they are doing it correctly, eventually ruining the dungeon to everyone. The same thing applies to you. Fluid aura isnt a skill to be used and abused. Specially on trash mobs. And they even told you to stop doing it before kick, and you still didnt stop, it can be a way to harass the party which is a good reason for kick.

I agree with the second part, WHM being my main job. But I keep Fluid Aura on my hot bar for the times that I really need to get out of a bind. Occasionally tanks might screw up and a get a straggler even if we healers aren't overhealing (flashes didn't reach the mob for whatever reason). The mob comes to me and I can fluid aura him away if repose doesn't work (some mobs can't be slept). We healers are very squishy, even a single trash mob can be a danger to us.

The only time I use it is if I get a straggler on me and the tank doesn't notice quick enough and my HP drops under half, but only if I need to stay still and continue popping heals on the tank (if the tank is undergeared or pulled a lot of mobs for the sake of a "speed run"). I'll usually either sleep it, hold it, or run over to the tank so he or she can grab it easier. We aren't noobs for using it when needed.

The only situation where i've found myself using fluid aura was in sastasha and that's because #1 I wanted to see what the spell looked like since I had just unlocked it & #2 Thanks to the tank the party was playing hot potato with the mobs. In general though if a mob is eating you or the deeps face off repose always seems like a much handier and less annoying tool to use than fluid aura.

pretty much this, unless you are doing it right at the start of a pull there is no reason for you to not use every spell you have to the best of your ability. on my tank ive had dps pull aggro and then feel bad about it and ask if they should hold back. i tell them no, go hard or go home if i cant keep aggro its my problem not theirs

99 percent of the time healers use Fluid is out of boredom because it looks cool to push a mob back while making everyone else wait for the mob to come back or chase after it. It's really an ability for the "I" play how I wantz to playzz because I payz money for it" crowd.

Even when I do have to use FA, because a mob is on me (whm agro, yay!)... I at least punt the mob TO THE TANK... not off in a random direction.

So if a mob is eating me AND the tank I should drop everything and run over to the tank so they can get ate by an extra mob while I'm busy not healing to get said extra mob to them... sound logic.

You make it sound complicated. What is there to drop? If you get aggro, run to the tank, he grabs aggro and done. Unless your tank is under geared then he should be able to handle groups of mobs. Healing is a one button ability how busy can you be?
