Err... no? Why would anyone leave Garuda on Auto? You're simply asking for trouble (and you lose DPS too). SMNs need to learn to put their pets on Obey for serious stuff, especially Coil.

It's probably best to save Fluid Aura as an emergency "Get this mob away from me!" button, but in the lower level dungeons it doesn't matter.
If no one has sleep yet (no thm or cnj below lvl 26) you can effectively remove one mob from the fight for a bit, while the rest of the party burns down the main target. Whether you use it or not shouldn't be a big deal as these dungeons are a cakewalk anyways. If you're going to use it, wait until after the mob in question has been hit by flash. After you get repose though, I'd relegate it to emergency only.
If anybody complains, remind them you're currently doing the easiest crap in the game and to lighten up.
I play WAR with my brother who is a BLM, the way we play is I mark target(s) use Overpower twice then he sleeps the rest. I feel it's easier to keep all the trash in one spot for aggro generating if needed, it also makes everyone (including WHM) to attack one target and just down them as fast as possible.
--EDIT--
Thank god I'm not in your server OP, you sound like a total ass. I wouldn't put up with you and kick you as well.

That is actually not necessary because targets under the influence of Sleep or Repose will not accumulate healing enmity. A well timed Skull Thunder or Butcher's Block will secure that target as it wakes up. With BLM it's even easier because you can just Overpower everything when Sleep is about to expire and only then the BLM drops Sleep again. Overpower enmity is enough to overcome any Sleep/Repose enmity.
When you have a SMN, though, that's an entirely different matter. In this case you'd probably just want to spam Overpower and have the SMN+BLM AoE everything. Unless both the tank and healer are really undergeared, all healers should be able to heal through AoE clearing single packs on all current target.

Honestly, if used correctly, Fluid Aura is the conjurer's 'eject button', meant to get them out of harms way. If a conjurer or White Mage has to use Fluid Aura, and it's not being used aggresively, then it's not a failing of the healer but of the tank to let them get in harm's way like that. If anything, it's a sign of a bad tank that Fluid Aura is even being used, so if a tank has anyone to be mad at it's themselves. I've had a healer or five use Fluid Aura under my watch and I didn't get mad about it, felt bad about it that I was sucking that badly to let the healer get attacked in the first place.
If a healer uses Fluid Aura from the 'back row' and you're tanking... shame on you, bad tank, bad!
Fluid Aura should not be on anyone's hot bar at any time ever.
It does more harm than good and it's basically like writing "NOOB" on your forehead.
When I play a DPS and see some noob healer using it I want to ragequit.
If a healer feels like they need to use it, it means that their tanks and DPS are not doing something right.

I dont even use it if the mob is on me, I just walk over to tank so mob will Be in their range. Other than soloing where the distance is useful I find it too erratic and would not want to inflict it on ant other tanks or dds. Had a healer who used it a lot and several garudas, and it was annoying when our only target the melee dd and I are wailing on gets launched potentially towards more mobs, and lowering our damage more than the extra damage the healer contributed. Only time I've used it is in a macro to knock back and repose drake in brayflox
I really hate when I'm able to flash all the mobs. I prefer having a mob in a far off corner who I'm building 0 enmity on, but the healer is still building full enmity on. I clearly rounded up all those mobs so that the healer could un-round them up for me.

Hey you asked for a WHM who can control hate of multiple enemies. Not my fault someone thought outside of the box and beat something a PLD and WAR could. Don't worry, WHM tanking isn't going to become the norm. Also, no one said anything about T4. Today's Emmy for over drama goes too... I'm pretty sure this thread was talking about low level dungeons, not end game raid content.
