The people that don't want to join an FC won't miss out on anything but an FC weekly gil allowance, and the FC house I believe.
So you are proposing a deflation of the currency? What will stop Gil sellers from just selling Gil in smaller amounts? Since you are forcing the value of the items to drop as well... All you are really accomplishing is changing the value of 1 Gil. And the FREEDOM at which people can spend their money. People don't like their freedom to do things messed with and it is never accepted to kindly. And without people there are no sub fees and without sub fees there are no servers and without servers you don't get to play. Yes you removed RMT from FFXIV but you didn't consider the cost of doing so.

This is correct anyway. All the OP's suggestion would do is cause the value of gill to rise. 1000 Gil would be the new 1,000,000 gil. RMT would sell you 500 gil for 20 bucks a pop.
Well, I was hoping that because 1000 gil is so easy to get, it would promote people doing the duty roulette, beastmen quests, leves, treasure maps and other means of making that easy gil with friends; instead of simply having an RMT trade you 1000 gil.
If SE inserted your idea while also keeping gil gain the same as it is now, gil would become completely meaningless. And the economy in game wouldn't be bad... it would be non-existent. You have to know that your idea is bad... I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be mean, but come on man... it's bad.
I actually thought I was on the right track...; ;If SE inserted your idea while also keeping gil gain the same as it is now, gil would become completely meaningless.
