tracert 199.91.189.30I'm having 2002 issues too.
A google search suggested that these were congestion errors, but 7 hours later I'm still having them, meanwhile my FC mates are all logging on perfectly fine.
Launcher boots up correctly. Game launches correctly. Hit the start button at the main menu and it'll try to connect to a data center.
2002 error pops up before it connects.
Edit: I can't see any crash log in the FF14 program files, was there another place they should be?
Post here with findings.

Really struggled to get out of the modem it seems.
That an Airport Extreme router? Are you running dual NAT? Open your ports or DMZ your machine to see if it helps.http://i.imgur.com/LxYBGMy.png

I honestly have no idea what any of that means, but the issue just fixed itself moments ago.
Saw a mention in http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...07#post1850007 that someone checked their Norton then suddenly it worked. I just noticed mine wasn't showing on the taskbar so I booted Norton up.
Suddenly FF14 is working perfectly. No idea why.
Airport Extreme is Apple's router. I ask due to the 10.0.x.x IP address of your LAN.I honestly have no idea what any of that means, but the issue just fixed itself moments ago.

Airport Extremes have a nasty habit of operating in a dual NAT mode (two LAN gateways. Makes it difficult for some data to transfer).
Port forwarding can sometimes help (done on your routers local page)
DMZ would do the same thing (port forwarding you're still behind a firewall. DMZ is a rule set so your computer operates completely outside of it).
I'm not a fan of Norton. It's a hog for CPU and will override whatever settings you have in place. I have Windows Defender (I'm a mac user by default) and I've never had an issue.
