Whats killing me is the lack of an statement about this issue by S.E.
I know they know... because afterall we got the "try zooming out" by Yoshida, and the "we are going to check your position every .1, instead of .3" from the updates...

But at least I would feel comfortable if they release an statement about it , and even if its a "Hey guys, we did everything we could, we are sorry if you are suffering this, but we cant fix it since, its not in our hands" .... at least I would know as a customer what to expect and I would be able to make a wise decition (either, stick by the game, and do content that is being dumb down, try to a vpn, or even just leave the game, and stop posting about this).

I still dont know why if small bussines, are able to even open West Coast servers, and East Coast servers, why S.E. hasnt been able to...

And well, im a 1.0 player... so in a way I feel betrayed by SE, since I stick up with the game, when they were in a bad spot... and as a customer I dont feel the same support with this horrible issue.

I also want to to add that I have been playing mmos my whole life... and so far this is the only game I get this horrible lag...

The last statement was that they changed PR from 0.3 to 0.1, as that's what they can do in regards to this even though it's an issue not on their end. The reason people keep bringing up other MMOs but discredit when someone brings up FFXI is because other MMOs are not going through the same routing to their datacenters. Many times they host their own. With FFXI, another MMO by Square Enix, they don't suffer the same problems where people can barely play the game because there's no routing issues to where XI is hosted.

It's confirmed it's an issue with Level3 and for some, Tata. SE can set up servers in every damn city all over the world and there will still be problems if a service they use is experiencing issues.

I too agree that the game suffers from this lag. I run the game with usually 80 fps wherever I go on highest settings, so it's not my frame rate dropping or anything like that. But yes, sometimes, like in titan hm, the aoe will show, I will be clearly super far away from it, and bam, off I go even though I'm half way across the whole fighting zone. It makes me look really bad to other players who probably don't believe when I say I was nowhere near that attack, it should be fixed 100% to avoid team wipes on hard endgame mechanics., for sure for things like titan extreme etc. It's no fun hoping if or not you will be hit, you should know by just being in or out of the aoe pattern.

Most of the time the game runs flawless, but these hiccups occur and usually they cause a wipe for most which is quite annoying, because you generally need your whole team doing 100% on the hardest things. It's even more annoying to die in a game when it is not your fault. Imagine if the Nintendo lagged when you played Mario and you kept dying at a goomba or something, online games need to get this down 100% to be a great game.
