Repairs, tele, mats for relic quests add up if you're not a dedicated crafter/gatherer. I had around 70k saved up from (a few weeks of) capping myth and dailies, now I'm down to 20k because I started my last relic and the materia alone was 20k a pop.

Repairs and teleport fees can be earned through basic dungeon grinding, even just Myth hunting should get enough for a week's worth of those fees (although, banging your head against the wall that is Titan EX will cost you a bit...)

As for relic mats, you do those once in a blue moon...and can get the materia spiritbonding stuff...

The prices are fine. You have to try pretty hard to not earn gil in this game.

Back in my day, when we wanted a Gobuue mount, we had to level to 30 and simply talk to an NPC!

Yeah, just capping myth gets you enough to do repairs for all your jobs plus teles. I have 0 need to run dungeons after that, just for the gil would be a pain and a waste.

And killing doblyns for two-three hours to sb some junk all for some earth IV materia SUCKS. As it is I'm going to have to play for twice as long as it took to get max rank just to get 1 mount. It also sucks that the whole Rep/beastmen thing is pointless for anything other than that, as of now.

You can make roughly around ~20k gil a day with regular playing and after subtracting expenditures for repairs, teleportation fees, and the likes. In 6 days you already have the cost of one of those mounts covered, in 3 days you can buy both minions.

Can earn 30k-40k gil in a 8/8 Peisteskin map party if everyone has 2 maps. Daily. The prices are well within everyone's reach.
