    At this point, I doubt either company is going to do anything. I started using battleping and it's been working flawlessly so far. Been on it for over a week now without any lag issues. Figured the extra $5 a month is worth it if I wanna play without the horrendous lag and still keep the high speed internet. Btw, for anyone having the speed issues with their verizon router, like I mentioned in my previous post, I found this great guide that allowed me to use it as a pass thru to my own router with better range and wireless speed: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r276...ev.I-a-Network

    its like you build the most awesome attraction site but the road leading there is a dirt road..

    I dunno why they didnt just put the servers in texas or chicago, oh wait SE is too cheap to get 2 sets of servers for EU and NA

    Due to lag issues since 2.1 launched, I've also gone ahead and cancelled my auto-renew. Hopefully they can resolve this issue whether it be Fios, Level3, or SE themselves. I have no interest in paying for a game where end game content's difficulty is multiplied due to connection issues.

    I am on Comcast cable and can also confirm this is not an ISP issue but a Level 3 issue. My traceroutes run comcast to San Jose hub with <25ms hops till then. After San Jose on the main Level3 connection i get 100+ms San Jose-Denver, then 250+ms from Denver-Montreal.

    SE is not connected directly to Level 3, so I doubt there is any customer relationship between the two.

    Level 3 is a Tier 1 and owns and operates a major Internet backbone in Montreal. They are one of the largest in the world.

    One quick check and you can see it belongs to Ormuco.

    The next two nodes are listed as belonging to Eidos, which is owned by SE and is therefore part of SE NA network.
    Who's giving false info here? You, who didn't look up things, or me who bothered to look up things?

    SE is a customer of Ormuco, and Ormuco is a customer of Level 3. SE is not a direct customer of Level 3 just like you're not a direct customer of Level 3 just because your ISP peers with them.

    Ormuco was contracted as SE's DataCenter solutions (Public Info). Unless you have their contract handy, you do not know the details of the services.

    Fact remains, it is SE's data and issue. They need to contact the proper company involved. Whether it is Ormuco as their upstreamer to sort out with Level 3 or Level 3 directly if its only a DataCenter contract.

    This is nothing new, I've known this since Beta 3, since the datacenter launched. What you and I do not know is the details of SE's contracts with these companies and the services they provide.

    I spoke with a representative name Pete at Level 3 and he explained to me that your ISP should call them to report the problem, as your ISP is the one who pays Level 3 for access to their data centers in the first place.

    If your ISP doesn't seem to think they should do it, keep going up the chain until you find someone who will. I had to do that with Bright House, I ended up speaking to a supervisor who passed my info along to their engineers.
