SE is in fact okay with third party parsers (although they warn you to use those at your own risk), what they are not okay with are programs which directly affect the XIV client... Of which at least one of the more well-known parsers do as it can display overlays that the game does not naturally have. I didn't even know it did that, actually, until I checked the thinger again after hearing some rumors.
Maybe, just those reddit posts are making me panic about it. In any case, it does not matter, I want SE in game parser .
