Improve Dragoon DPS. WEAK in comparison to other DPS

@vodomir I do know my rotation and my combos thank you and I should not be forced to play like that when I'm not doing a speed run and it always when the group decides to do a regular run that the monks speak about my dps, And besides when I was tanking toto-rak the other day we had a monk and a drg the monk was not even in full lvl 24 or above gear and said why is the drg not doing as much dps as him and the drg was in full lvl 50+ gear so yeah its not just about knowing our rotation/combos.

Simple truth, when you are doing significantly less DPS then a similarly geared Monk next to you, you may just not be as good of a player as him. If gear and skill are equal, there's little to no difference in DPS. About that level synch story, pls keep in mind that being synched down actually makes your gear worse than wearing gear of the appropriate level, so basically you compare apples to oranges there.

And if you knew your rotation that well, how comes that each DRG and their neighbour tells you that DRG are actually in a good spot, while you claim to perform so poor compared to other classes? On a dummy I parse around 340-350 DPS until TP runs dry (after Invigorate was used) without any outside buffs, potions or other gimmicks. I'm neither BIS equipped, not do I own an Allagan Spear. I'd be surprised if Monks achieved significantly higher DPS.

Btw. are you 100% sure that said monk is a) telling the truth about his parses and b) set up his parser and and combat log correctly? (e.g. if the combat actions of party members are filtered out in the combat log, certain parsers will schow vastly incorrect results for anyone but the parsing player himself.

A lot of times, my FC would rather bring in a new healer if we're missing one than have me heal Coil or EX Primals and find another DPS...its not that my WHM is really worse than DRG (i84 vs i90 for gear, and I heal just fine) its that hard to find another DPS who can accurately replace me...

I did not say they do significantly more dps then me, when I'm on a boss I noticed I have the same or can out do the monks dps and I still have not done coil and yes I will agree with you that DRGs are in a good spot since I can/ended up tanking certain dungeon's as my drg but this is becoming argument and I'm done talking about it.

there's a guy in my fc who, to me, exemplifies on-point goon playing. we're both i90 but, even in extended fights where i don't have to do a lot of moving and lose/rebuild my GL stacks, if i play lazy-monk with my rotations and don't actively pop my CDs when they're available and weave in every possible little extra off-gcd skill, he WILL out dps me.

goons are fully capable of stellar DPS. in the hands of a really skilled player, they add a lot of utility to a solid team/group.

I for one actually prefer to do runs with a Drg as they do far more damage then me as Bard.
Even Primals i much prefer to have at least one Drg in the group and the other dps would of course be blm

Can't read parser most likely. I see so many "I do over 300 dps" people an none of them can back it up. The fact they are always bad says to me they just don't understand parsers.

So mr op... "in a shorter time where it takes me a full rotation to equal their output!" If that is an issue for drg then mnk and smn are totally screwed.

DRG is already the most resilient DPS currently in the game right?

Easy enough to ignore the "they need higher DPS" talk as its totally crazy but please explain why they would need a buff in the defense department.

Nah they have the lowest magical defense in the game. Most AOEs hit them like a truck.

I dont see how they would need higher physical defense though.
