Improve Dragoon DPS. WEAK in comparison to other DPS

a good drg with similar gear should be within 20% damage of a good mnk, ie if the mnk is hitting around 270, the drg should be pushing about 240-250 dps, but thats just an estimate and assumes a long boss fight

You are overestimating the DPS difference between MNK and DRG way too much. There's no way a MNK does 25% more DPS than a DRG, given similar gear and skill level - there is virtually no DPS difference at all if both classes are played correctly.

Darklight ring of Aiming? Really? Even a peltast ring is better. And you're just undergeared compared to other DPS you've run with. You don't even have Mercy Stroke and Internal Release. Do you even know what skills DRG can have access to?

I'm sorry but I'm ilvl 90 Monk and my best friend is an ilvl 90 Dragoon and I can tell you for a fact that this thread is the dumbest thing ever since someone made the "Monks are weakest dps" thread. We make dps races all the time and we've both lost and won (it's a lot of fun). So in full honesty, instead of crying to SE to give you a buff (which they already did) look for videos and guides on how to maximize your class/job.

DRG is much stronger than you realize OP.

1. DRG is actually second or third best DPS in ideal conditions against single target situations, and in real fights it carries over well unlike MNK/BLM who depending on the fight can lose a lot of their effectiveness.
2. DRG is great in dungeons, their AoE is very strong, and their multi-DoTs are extremely worthwhile.
3. DRG rapes adds, badly. Use Elusive Jump or Spineshatter Dive to get to the opponent if being melee has you getting beat by ranged, and when you're there, between all the off-GCD attacks and B4B's effectiveness during its duration, DRG can be #1 in burst.

So you agree then, that your output equals theirs? Your argument lost all its weight within 3 sentences. You rock sir, DRG is awesome i main one. 300+ DPS very competitive DPS class and you buff your BRD DPS. I like buffs but you're being silly.

im ilvl90 monk and also have a DRG friend ilvl90 and i can tell you that DRG dmg is fine.with the 2.1 buff,DRG dps is about the same as MNK now.

DRG is in theory only slightly under MNK, however fight mechanics pretty much conspire to make all but the luckiest AND most prediction-savvy MNKs lose GL3 which hurts them considerably. They both have their flexibility and weaknesses. DRG is certainly not the "weakest" DPS job.
