L2R They said CLEARLY patcher may be slow for some people due to SEVER CONGESTION. Iv'e NEVER had an issue so far. Learn2wait. This is nothing new guys. Wow Aion FFXI had similar issues. When you got a ton of ppl loading up on the same patching sever thingy of course ya gonna have issues. You guys skim to much and blow up over nothing.

3. I'm having a hard time believing you've played anything other than Facebook games at this point. I've never played an MMO where the patcher would come to a complete halt when both my firewall and port forwarding are correctly set up.

its when people are trying to use the updater it gets congested. Too many people are trying to patch the game at the same time just enough for some people to get slowed, it was in the patch notes. People (there I said people you picky person)

hmmm just imagine if this game had a huge player base the boards would be flooded with justifiable complaints. having these issues with such a small player base is ridiculous almost as ridiculous as you defending it.

Here is the thing though.... we do not have a solid number of the player base. only the made up number. And it isn't how many people are dling it it is EVERYONE doing it at same time.

Oh I did the DL today @ 5pm est. It took 20 min minus the admin block. so over all 15 min. My mom cut my hair and the whole dl and up load was done before my mom finished, and she only took off 3 inches.

no it took you 2 days... and 20 minutes because you started late. Some of us do play the game and not spend their time getting their post count up, forgetting the edit button exists and not playing.

Sorry but there isn't an agrument just people being silly calling me out on the the truth. I never had an issue with the ffxiv patcher. And tbh this isn't new to mmo some time you get lucky sometimes ya don't. It isn't you net or SE net it is the fact you got 30K+ people trying to get the game patched at the same time. It happen to me in WoW and Aion alot and worst of ffxi. Which is why I wait a day or two.
