Idk but i have 0 remote connections and 21 local and it's downloading for 30-50 kb.

remote are connections inbound to you
local are connections outbound by you

they can both be either upload or download
no remote means you are behind a firewall as most people are
map ports 54992:55551 tcp back to your machine running the client, this way other people behind firewalls can connect to you and you may leech from them!

Remote I believe are seeders and local are people dling it. If its showing 0 seeders that means there is noone available to dl the full patch from and you can only dl what other users have dled so far (I think). Fix = more seeders when the patch is first pushed out....

This updater is a complete joke. I have been updating since the minute it the patch went up and here is my current progress:

I hope you do something about this before 1.18 because if that patch is a big one then it will take ages to download. Also when 1.18a, 1.18b come along if they do we will have to do it all over again ><

Think yaself lucky I moved from a 60mb connect to 2mb, I almost died the first week. ;.;

L2R They said CLEARLY patcher may be slow for some people due to SEVER CONGESTION. Iv'e NEVER had an issue so far. Learn2wait. This is nothing new guys. Wow Aion FFXI had similar issues. When you got a ton of ppl loading up on the same patching sever thingy of course ya gonna have issues. You guys skim to much and blow up over nothing.

It clearly does has issues, when Utorrent can download the file in a fraction of the time.

And more people equal faster downloads when you are using P2P to download.

Even with uTorrent, I'm still experiencing very slow bursty transfers. What kills me is that I can download at 2.3MB/s.

I only get 12MB but.... I can update this game very fast

seem like it's my sin that want me to play this game as a punishment
