Job traits would be nice.
Would have much preferred either a straight up job system, we become classes/jobs by something other than our arms & tools so we can use multiple weapons on a given job, but that's not happening now (or ever).

I wouldn't be so sure, I feel like the game checks for a soul stone when we create a Gear Set. Otherwise it wouldn't allow us to equip say Thyrus on conjurer. Thus the coding is probably implemented to check for the stone just not the requirement to change jobs.
If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.
