Never had any problems downloading any patch.

For reference: used a 7Mbps in the past and now using a 15Mbps Cable ISP in Montreal, Canada.

Mine speeds up, goes like 10-15-25-40-50-60 then it realises "hang on this aint right" and goes to 0.0B/s.

I hate you lol I used to live in Manchester, now im over in Leeds for a little bit and get 15mb.................... =( i miss my 50mb!!!

Think yaself lucky I moved from a 60mb connect to 2mb, I almost died the first week. ;.;

L2R They said CLEARLY patcher may be slow for some people due to SEVER CONGESTION. Iv'e NEVER had an issue so far. Learn2wait. This is nothing new guys. Wow Aion FFXI had similar issues. When you got a ton of ppl loading up on the same patching sever thingy of course ya gonna have issues. You guys skim to much and blow up over nothing.

It clearly does has issues, when Utorrent can download the file in a fraction of the time.

And more people equal faster downloads when you are using P2P to download.

Well I decided to throw it into uTorrent and then went to get a drink, came back and it was done. Download time 4 minutes and 32 seconds.

Using the "Patcher" I still have 3:26:04 to go, SE fix your junk ><

ffxi had problems and i cant speak for aion but wow does not have any updater issues. notice a patern yet?

man their patcher is horrible. but the worst part is the fact we are downloading the same patch over and over...causing it to take even longer. Like someone else mentioned..when we get the huge 1.18 patch are we seriously gonna have to redownload that again with 1.18a/1.18b??! you gotta be kidding me.

I never had a problem during 5 years downloading ffxi patchs.

Once I properly port forwarded and port triggered for ffxiv, my update time went from 3 hours to 30 mins, and then it was about 15 mins max.

And yeah my longest wait time for FFXI patch on computer was 1 hour, and that was an expansion I believe, average was 10-15 mins.
