3. I'm having a hard time believing you've played anything other than Facebook games at this point. I've never played an MMO where the patcher would come to a complete halt when both my firewall and port forwarding are correctly set up.

Sorry but there isn't an agrument just people being silly calling me out on the the truth. I never had an issue with the ffxiv patcher. And tbh this isn't new to mmo some time you get lucky sometimes ya don't. It isn't you net or SE net it is the fact you got 30K+ people trying to get the game patched at the same time. It happen to me in WoW and Aion alot and worst of ffxi. Which is why I wait a day or two.

I've been playing since MUDs in the early 90s, and have never had the same sort of issues I have with XIV. Aion, WoW, Rift, PSO, PSU, Granada Espana, ROSE, XI, and several more, much along the lines of Rowyne. I'm sorry to hear you're the most unlucky MMO patcher in the world.

Our issue is that giving our internet speed, some people with lesser connections get theirs faster, its random, its not a matter of congestion. I hate your backwards logic on things you know nothing about.

I wait on stuff ya backward thinking anti logic smart dude ^^ I do stuff next day and NEVER have an issue. So yes it is congestion I never had a horror story upload. And it only on patch day that ppl cry foul put 2 and 2 together.

Mine speeds up, goes like 10-15-25-40-50-60 then it realises "hang on this aint right" and goes to 0.0B/s.

Well I decided to throw it into uTorrent and then went to get a drink, came back and it was done. Download time 4 minutes and 32 seconds.

Using the "Patcher" I still have 3:26:04 to go, SE fix your junk ><
