    Why? Does that not prolong the life of the game? The most common reason you hear (or I do personally) for someone quitting is "there is nothing for me to do but raid" Being able to start a game and be at the end in weeks is the problem all modern MMOs have. Older MMOs never had this problem because they designed the content to take long enough for them to actually design more. Now within 2 months people were done with all the content and sitting on their hands for 5 more waiting for something to do.

    I'm not one of those (haven't beaten T5 yet.. wtb stable FC group -_- ) but that doesn't mean the problem isn't there.

    Looking current SE designs on i80 & i90+ gears.

    - 2.2 will probably remove Myth Cap and introduce a new higher end tome cap.
    - i80 gears from CT will be open for farm-able
    - Turn 1 to 5 will be weekly loot lock
    - Turn 6 to 9 will be a weekly progress lock
    - Primal EX weapon will not be at lock at 1 per week. (Complete Quest & Register for a new one)
    - Leviathan EX will be a weekly lock

    If SE remove that myth cap, there sould be higher iLvl gear or else, its gonna be a iLvl 90 fest! It cannot happen since square already mentionned that they don't want to separate to much the casual from the hardcore.

    I say Myth cap may increase but will stay. New tomes will be vera hard to get for iLvl 95 or iLvl99 gear

    This is how loot lock out should be for 2.2
    1: Introduce new Tome for new ilvl 95/100 gear. 450 week cap remove weekly cap from myth.
    2: CT no loot lock out can run it as many times a week and get as much loot as you want per week.
    3: Coil turn 1-5 no lock out, 1 loot per turn per week lock out. max 5 items per week. (this combined with no myth cap should allow easier current BiS to have best chance at turns 6+)

    with coil this way above you can run a turn as many times as you want till the piece you need drops from that turn. allowing the min/max of the current BiS to be attained. No one wants to wait 4 to 6 weeks after making lvl 50 to start turns 6+. This would give new players a fair chance at getting in to coil turn 6+

    I agree on that and would be good to have these lockout ideas after 2.2. I dont want to spend weeks to gear alt jobs.

    What do you want them to do then? Farm l50 dungeons for those 6 weeks? they'll have a relic (maybe upgraded), full lv80 gear and enough myth to buy 5 or 6 lv90 pieces.
    If you think all this is needed for T1, something's wrong.

    I dont think it is needed, im just saying im part of the people who are annoyed with the fact that "new players" will be able to do in couple weeks what took us months.

    By "shouldnt be able to" i meant " shouldnt be allowed to".
