    I don't think the loot lock out is necessary. There will still be people farming CT for a couple of reasons:
    1. Vanity. (remember Vanity Slot system will be out as well so this will be a very strong reason by then)
    2. Help gear up character for turn 1-5, save you some time to farm tomes to exchange for DL.
    3. Not everyone can farm turn 1-5 with DL gears, even if they're nerfed. Just look at those ppl who can't even do CT very well.

    Yes, please have a lockout for Coil. No lockout will render CT/myth pretty much useless. DL will be laughed at. Why do CT for i80 gear when you can get endless i90 gear? Even 1 per turn is 5 pieces a week, that is a ton. Filling alts with i90 gear will be a joke. Why does everybody want easy mode with this game?

    Not everybody gives a **** about Vanity.

    Or they could make the ilvl for BC 1-5 a hard ilvl80. Then you couldn't even enter until you got CT pieces or myth gear.

    geez... what a QQ thread again.

    What's the problem with removal of lockouts ? You haven't realized yet that il90 will become the same must-have-to-survive trash than DL, that we'll have to farm before trying to get into the T6-9 and the new content ?

    Keeping the lockouts will just prevent people to access the new end game content. More, they'll just get some meldable il-90 crafted gear and bypass these lockouts, getting even better items that those you farmed for 6 month...

    il-90 won't be as good as it was, nearly becoming the new DL step to access fresh content.

    I agree that CT should no longer have a gear lock so that players can actually farm the content and possibly fix the issues with players leaving the dungeon after acquiring their item piece for the week. Coil having an item lock out per turn would help with overall gearing your static team for 6-9 as well as helping out FC members to experience these turns as well as gear them up for future teams for future coil turns.

    However as someone has mention before Coil should have a pretty high ilvl requirement to prevent players from just skipping other contents all together just to farm ilvl 90 gear.

    beginners/casuals can't beat T1-5 with il60-80. They'll gear faster and get to il-90, then beat it, and do it faster than they could before.

    Idk if you are aware, but the coil requirement is already 70 (for people who know exactly what to do, when to do, and how...), more like 75-80 for tempered and 80 for casuals... It's not the fact that BCOB gets in DF which will magically allow people to gear. They"ll still have to go the normal way, but maybe skip it a bit faster than before

    coil without lockout will be pretty hilariously farmable. You can do turn 4 over and over again to spirit bind and get 50 myth in a <10 min.
    I imagine it will be the new CM. that and turn 5 will make all current EX primals obsolete.

    They already are. The weapons they give are not really needed. their only use is the jewels they get (and even that... only good tank piece is titan earring. not worth the trouble)

    Whether or not they're going to give T1-5 a loot lock like they did in CT was the first question that popped in my mind after they announced that they're abolishing the weekly lock out for attempts.
