    Lockout would be ok, or maybe they could make it where item drop isn't guaranteed. What was the darklight drop % in 1.0? Like 5-10%?

    This isn't 1.0. That game failed for a reason.

    Turns 1-5 should be opened up with new content (T6-9) being released. However they do it, they should keep in mind that if a new player joins the game after 2.2, they shouldn't be forced to spend 6+ months, minimum, gearing up just to get to the point they can experience the latest content. If they do, many players will either not join or quit after they realize the hurdle they have to overcome just to be able to experience what they are paying for. I'd personally like to see CT opened up wide (no lockout, farm-able) and Turns 1-5 made to be 1 item per turn per week. This means that you can run it as much as you want to gear up (so a new player could, time and group pending, manage to catch up in maybe 2-4 weeks time between CT and Coil) and even be able to start working on Alt Jobs (because heaven forbid we actually utilize the Armory system). And *gasp* members of static groups could actually help other FC members experience coil (Oh, the humanity! People actually be able to *help* each other?! What is the world coming to!).

    I truly believe that for ALL turns of Coil they should make each turn a separate Lockout. If I miss my groups first raid night and they complete turns 6 and 7, why should I be locked out of those turns if I choose to join them for attempts on Turn 8? The system currently in place is not very flexible and at the end of the day, this is still a game. Flexibility is what keeps things fun instead of turning it into a job.

    And high end content has nothing to do with why 1.0 failed. So what is your point exactly? Giving out loot like a parade throwing candy is not a good way to keep people you know.... playing the game.

    That's how I feel about it too. Being able to say "hey I can help you do coil since you missed raids this week/all 3 tanks logged on and we couldn't bring all 3 of you" beats the hell out of "sorry man good luck with those pugs"
