There are other types of games than MMOs and there are also new MMOs coming out all the time that would be happy to take SE's customers. ESO for one.

and Tera is F2P too. So yeah, 12$ a month suddenly does seem a bit much.

I actually quit Tera because it went P2W. But as was said there are many alternatives to many different people's tastes. Many people enjoy a sense of community that an MMo can foster. This game doesn't do that. as I believe was brought up with the whole FC's that HAVE to form cliques if they want to do content or even CT because you can't even make an alliance for your own people. Daily roulette is pretty much done by everyone who wants stones or to get exp because of how much of a bonus you get from it. This game right now has stale or underwhelming content. I'm going to probably take some flak for this, but other games have the right of it (just like FFXI did sorta) that leveling jobs should be harder or at least take longer. A larger world slower leveling and other things would have kept the problems many see from being that.

TERA is garbage I played that game for a year and it had one meaningful update Final Fantasy 14 at its current pace will have 4. In TERA everyone wanted to pay to get there gear and the questing and storyline were generic the boss fights were simple and can be plowed through easily because of simple mechanics. Every boss in TERA used the same mechanic I got the top gear by winging it.
