Great thread. Many of my friends and I have been sending this type of feedback since Beta, but the last official response from Yoshi P about having Dungeons/Raids drop Very Rare Materials that would then have to be crafted (like what they had in FF XIV 1.0, and in FF XI) was that "RMT might exploit the market." WTH?!

If it's a drop from Dungeons / Raids, *you* (and your LS / FC) can go in to your own Instance and try and earn these materials yourself. How would it be cornered by RMT?! It's a lame excuse from Yoshi P and the team, to basically sidestep the issue of making Crafters more relevant and useful.

It's so ironic: We suffered one of the most boring Crafting Systems with FF XIV 1.0's Crafting. Yoshi P and the team revamped it all (thank you!), and you've made one of the deepest, most interesting Crafting Systems for FF XIV 2.0, and...

it's worthless with the way you've made Dungeon Gear (across all levels) be the only thing worth getting.

You have such a GREAT Crafting System in 2.0 now. Let us *use* it in a meaningful way. Please fix this situation.
