How do those videos prove anything? Let alone that it is SE's fault?Just because you have no problem dodging, doesn't mean other people don't. Go to youtube and look at any one of thousands of videos that CLEARLY show that there IS a huge problem with lag on that fight. You move out of the way, you're clear by a wide margin, and it still hits you. IT HAS BEEN DOCUMENTED if you care to even bother looking for it.
Bye.
anyway, this thread is bad and OP should feel bad.

It is SE's fault to make a fight that a 200ms spike will kill you and consequently the whole group.
Titan (both of them) is the only boss in the game that triggers such complaints.
If you're making an online game, you should take in account that internet is not perfect.
If on each try, on person get a random spike and die, it starts getting very frustrating. I empathise with OP's feelings, as someone who got stuck on him for so much time.

There's MMO's out there suited for people with poor connections, such as Perfect World. It is SE's fault to make a fight that a 200ms spike will kill you and consequently the whole group.

Also, it's not SE's fault. The content is fine for those with stable connections, something they suggested you have before playing the game.

"Go play other MMORPG"
Does a subscription based game (WoW clone, no less) have the luxury of sending players on the rival's way?
It's not the director's fault for making an action-oriented fight on a netcode that can't handle such action for half of the players, making it very frustrating and difficult for the wrong reasons?

Half is hyperbole. I highly doubt 50% of the playerbase is running around on terrible internet."Go play other MMORPG"

And yes, they do have the luxury. When World of Warcraft made changes that a good portion of players didn't like, they found a different game that suited their needs. It's how an MMO market works. You want the game to hand hold you and give you items without giving your 100%, there are other games that fits your needs. Just as this game fits the needs of players seeking some challenge. A fight that punishes you for someone dying early in the fight just makes the fight more meaningful to the people who need to improve in order to win. The Dark Souls paradigm. You die, you improve, you win, and you feel good about yourself improving enough to win.
So, I'm comfortable with fights that require all 8 players to give their full participation. Perhaps I'm biased because I made sure I had a stable connection before purchasing the game.
Well my connection is far above what is required for this game. I see a lot of this being pointed @ the users connection. My ping is between 110-140. I think that should be ok to play this game. My download and upload speeds are very high as well if that means anything. Even when i get to the character selection screen i'm always listed as "Excellent" for connectivity. So i know this latency/lag isn't on my end. Like i said in many other posts, i have played many other games and this is really the only one that has latency/lag issues to the point i can not pass certain content.
Bandwidth means nothing in this case. 110 is not great latency, but it is very doable.Well my connection is far above what is required for this game. I have seen it done with 300 ping, you are bad, get over it.
Yes you have no problems with other games, they are easier. (In reaction time checks).
