So how long are you going to allow FC's to sell runs and deny that the content is too hard for average gamers to clear. I don't pay a sub fee to not be able to see content, I could give a rat's butt what the hardcore gamers {btw only 5% of your player base} think. People can't even get thru Titan HM and you NEED it for your relic and to progress content. The darn fight is too hard and all your fights have too low of a gear score. Let me ask you to play a character and go into DF SE and see how well YOU do.

I have left other games because of this and will leave yours, go ahead and laugh if you want but when enough of us leave you will fail this game YET AGAIN. I am the consumer and I talk by taking my money elsewhere. Nobody wants to pay a merc group that overgears the content to run you. Fix it or I bet more then myself leave.

Ok flame away people. BTW I have cleared Titan HM on more then one character but I have a great connection ,others in my FC do not and the game is too unforgiving to them and it upsets me when I can't help them because too many die in groups. I don't play to get upset!!!

Coil, Garuda EM, Ultima HM and the super-awesome, almost perfect Ifrit EM.

Tbh if you don't beat Titan HM your progression completely stops. If you can't progress in a MMORPG, there's no point in playing.

This is exactly what I am getting at we have lots in my FC that are stuck here and good players with bad connections can't get out of all the aoe's and when you fail you die it's too unforgiving IMHO

Maybe they should fix their connection? Its not SEs fault they have a bad connection. And Titan HM is not hardcore content in my opinion

So tired of seeing this arguement. My connection works great on EVERYTHING but this game. This is the ONLY game i have played where the latency is what makes content challenging. The game is easy, and i've been playing games for a very long time, the challenege is the latency this game gives people. If i'm casting a spell then run out of an AOE targeted attack i should NOT still get hit. But no, in this game, i need to run out then start casting again for it to "save" my position which is beyond stupid. I don't want the game dumbed down but i want stuff fixed. Well honestly i'm with the OP, Titan HM has made me quit this game, so i don't care if they fix it or not anymore. The servers are too bad to warrent a sub imo.

Honestly, if your connection is bad, you cant raid in any game period.
Also if they are good players, the fight is super easy because it is 100% predictable, if they watch his moves, know his rotation, they know to already be moving for the next ability.
better yet, move as a team.

besides its not so hard that you cant afford any failures, if one person dies, your usually ok still for the rest of the fight, if you have more than that, theyre a bunch of scrubs anyway.

whats the point of getting your relic when you wont be able to challenge any other content anyway? other fights are much worse.

Maybe not, but designing every encounter with cheap, over-powered "avoid this or die" attacks in lieu of forcing people to play their roles well like XI did is just as bad if not worse.

You have that backwards. Pre Abyssea there were bosses with 1 shot type moves if you did the mechanics wrong. Post Abyssea pretty much every boss had an instant death 1 shot move, and a multitude more that were hate resets. FFXIV has very few moves of either sort.
