This is less of a horror story, and more me being annoyed, I swapped GC's cause I'm collecting the minions so I had Sunken Temple come up in the hunting log and figured you know, I'll go on my Relic Scholar that way I can explain and carry the probably new players that don't know the place, which worked well in trash I could type out explanations while Eos healed.

As expected we wiped on the first boss, the summoner was standing up on the hill to avoid the doom so I figured they knew what they were doing... In reality I think they just did what someone too lazy to explain told them to do... Because despite typing out doom, the tank just sat there and died with doom on, swiftcast raise, and then the melee died to doom, so it went up to the summoner who gained doom and just let doom kill them, as I went to raise the melee (no swiftcast up), the tank got doom and died again... sigh... then eos was tank... and I just gave up... and sent eos away since she wouldn't stop healing me. Second round it went a bit better, still messy but got through it, over all, all deaths that have happened so far have been one shots.

We then go through to the second boss I notice mobs aren't dying that fast and that the summoner is trying to heal... I let them know that they should be dpsing... there's no healing issue.

Then on the second boss, the tank who's been slow at stepping out of red seemed to be in the swing of things, but EVERY TIME the boss used obliterate the summoner I don't know, bloody panic'd and started healing everyone... never mind that I had succor up before hand, people were at 80% health and I had whispering dawn up... now I'm one to thank a dps that helps heal when shit hits the fan, but I found this insulting and was only proving to prolong the fight. I asked them 4-5 times to stop and they continued to heal.

If I could have given them negative commendations I would have, because they also insisted on dotting the faces and going all out on them before they got to the platform, or when they had aggro would stand directly on a platform still going all out so it would die just off the platform. And in general being an unresponsive bad. I wound up giving my commendation to the dragoon as he was helping me explain things and dealt with the faces on the boss.

In the end it wasn't as bad as a sunken temple could have been, but man I was spoiled running this with FC for the moogle quest and other people's GC quests

Healing horror stories: Any and every run of Hydra that I've come to help with. I don't know why it always feels like either
1. The other healer can't stay out of the fire and is busy healing themselves instead of the others forcing me to do double the work
2. Tanks who don't understand how to split damage so I'm spending more time raising everyone than healing

Wow, can't believe anyone outside of a troll saying that CT is a challenge, when I run it on WHM FC members hop on their undergeared healers to dps and have me carry them. Though it is kind of surprising when I see other parties hovering at much lower health, or when I dps or tank seeing healers struggle. My healer buddy in FC often runs it as dps and immediately regrets it... So I guess I can understand people thinking that healing the dungeon is difficult based on the healers they see in there.

I once ran through from first poison path to Bone Dragon in Santa body.

And the Monk was in snowman body

Still easy as pie. I always run with Coliseum Body and Pants now, makes CT that much more... "less boring".

To be fair, I have Thyrus Zenith, Allagan Head, Royal Sash, Cleric Boots. My acc are Militia Choker, earring, double aetheryte ring and patriot bracelet. It's not hard, tho I must say that I've never been in group B

Running brayflox and at the last boss - the DPS died early and the healer ran out of MP. Had to heal the tank with Physick and Blizzard. D:

I'm starting to stream to keep track of my healing stories..

Last night decided to do my first roulette "in progress..." got Pharos.. 22min left, @ first boss... Wiped a few times.. at one point tank was holding probably 16 adds...
right after that, got in another at Zu with some time left... wiped 4x because people don't understand his mechanics.. try to explain, no reply in chat.. wipe another 3x...

But really, that was probably the funniest derp I've ever done in Titan. I'm also really sorry to those in my party reading this. I know better now.

In my very first Titan Hm fight as healer (I have no problem with it on my blm), I was really stressed first-time healing it, and smashed my macros that hard, I accidentaly hit target lock on my conroller. That limited my camera and movement, I had no idea what I am doing anymore. I paniced, couldn't release it in time, and I just eat everything (LS, plumes) I supposed to be dodging. :/
That happened 3 times during the fight... my FC and the 2-3 DF people were really patient with me, and we won the fight at the end, but I still felt like a noob...

i sincerely hope i was being trolled by a premade but...

i queued up for ifrit hm in DF last night to farm my book. i notice the other healer is another sch, but it's no big deal; i've done it before without a whm partner and no mage LB. i know it's doable.

after stoneskin and protect is casted, i adlo the MT and succor the rest of the group. MT didn't go for the pull, so i recasted the shields. suddenly, the WHOLE PARTY (INCLUDING THE OTHER SCH) went off on me about how the tank wont be able to keep hate at the start WHEN THE SHIELDS TICK. i get a "OMFG L2P" speech, people start leaving, the dps blame me for wasting their time and now having to wait for another queue.

i was in so much shock that i started experiencing self-doubt and read through tool tips and traits to make sure they were wrong.

"Biatches, if you can't take aggro with Galvanize on, you can't take aggro with Stoneskin on, so L2P or GTFO"

Galvanize don't have ticks.
