On a higher level note, every time people are not committed to what they're doing it can potentially become a nightmare. Some fights are taxing on MP, per se, WHMs have a lot to keep a keen eye on. Why making it harder on the whole group by not paying attention? I'm not talking about 'watching video guides to be ready' i do not believe a video guide will make you proficient, you need to live the fight and yes, potentially die through it to master it later. it's all good to me
But try to play at the best of your ability. Be there. Be ready. Have items in case sh*t hits the Tornadoes
don't just assume you'll be ok cause the tank will hold hate and the healers will keep you up while you zone out. I would never allow myself to waste people's time like that

This just happened recently. I am leveling CNJ for crossclass abilities and am at lvl29 with mostly green Haukke equipment, ie not under geared for my level. I go into Haukke via DF and I end up with a GLD, DRG and THM. Immediately the tank and goon run ahead and start pulling mobs. I catch up and start helping out. After a few pulls I noticed the tank wasn't marking targets so I politely asked them to please mark. They then starting marking but the tank and goon don't seem to be following the marks at all so both of them are getting attacked and so I keep having to keep them both up. Then on top of that they kept hitting the mobs the THM was marking and sleeping. So they continue running ahead and doing sloppy pulls and being all over the place when fighting and not keeping AoE agro, forcing me to have to run in and spam medica to keep the tank and goon alive. We end up wiping a few times due to the tank and goon just running ahead and being sloppy but I chalk it up to them maybe not knowing the dungeon or being new. We get to the hall with the two maiden pats and he tank just rushes in and engages the first group and instead of bringing them back he just fights them in the middle of the hall, all the while the pats are moving closer. I even said that the pats were coming and nothing. So the maidens agro and the tank doesnt grab them so they both gang up on me and quickly drop me which results in a wipe since there were like 6 mobs engaged and a dead healer. So after the wipe the tank says that I should be using Cure 2. I tell him that I'm lvl29 and don't have it yet to which he responds well we need more healing and that is why we died. I let him know that I am spamming heals but that I can't keep up healing two people and that the reason we died was because of the pats. I then ask the tank and goon to please be more careful and not just run ahead and agro multiple groups. The goon then pretty much tells me to just shut up and heal. At this point I know this group is going to be a nightmare so I tell them I'm leaving. Immediately the goon tells me to go f**k myself and calls me a c**k sucker and continues to spew forth a deluge of obscenities before I just leave.

I'm so lucky I haven't had an experience like this yet. >< I generally run lowbie dungeons with friends now so it's not as likely to happen anymore. Did you report them for harassment? I would do so because what they said to you at the end was completely uncalled for.

My healing horror is having met a tank who refuse to use shield oath and flash in WP (and he admitted to have bought the account the day before) + a blm with relic weapon dressed up with spirit bonding items...

Result = wiped 5 times.

I play both healer and tank. I don't really have a worst experience. I do get a lot of tanks in wp runs that try to do a speed run, pull a bunch of mobs, use flash only once, and then by the time I heal a couple teams they all try to eat me. It really drives me nutz. Whatever happened to players learning their job and taking pride in being good at it lol

I did WP in a DF Pug tonight as a SCH and it was a night mare. we queue into the dungeon and I see a geared bard, a fresh 50 MNk and the warrior (NQ Relic, with mix of ilvl 70/90 gear and Regular AF helmet.

This guy proceeds to mark and pull each group in WP one by one marking them and single targeting threat only on his current target using IB at 5 stacks everytime, no flash, no overpower, no steel cyclone, not even bothering to touch the other enemies. Needless to say I would get healing aggro and the Bard would get AoE aggro and we would end up kiting the mobs around the room, the slashers would catch up to us and would wipe us.

After the first wipe, I ask him to please use flash and overpower so get aggro (I'm a warrior main, but even so this is common sense), he proceeds to tell me that if I THE HEALER only attacked the targets he marked I wouldn't get attacked by anything and he didn't need to use those abilities and waste his MP and TP.

I came here to read what annoys healers so I can be a better tank...i'm honestly shocked at some of this stuff. That last story is just...how do you get to level 50 and a relic without knowing that healing pulls everything that's been activated? How people can be this stupid with only one head I have no idea.

Dumb DPS's in Titan who blame healers for not healing them when they stand in a double or triple Weight of the Land (4-6k DMG, more then they have HP), or Tanks the unnecessarily stand in AoE's. Most of the worst is a DPS who cannot avoid AoE's over and over and then lashes out because they died. Sorry buddy eventually my MP needs to go to the tank not you.
