Just because those scholars can´t play their class to the max as they hit Aurum Vale and do not play it again as they can. If you are familiar with microing your pet and know your skills, AV is a walk in the park.

Dude, it was a joke. My main class is scholar and I've done AV a bunch pre-patch. I don't know if "cake walk" would be the term I'd used, but it was manageable once you learned the fights.

Sunken temple, DF in as Sch, party members consist of Pld with valor body/ Ifrit sword, 2 x drg with full DL and relic. "Pld" and "drgs" would pull whatever they want, and tank would not even try to get the aggro from any of the mobs other than the one he had targeted, and the drgs would target anything but Plds target. needless to say I was healing 3 people the whole time without succor.

Yeah, um. It certainly is now! Before, when your pet was dying repeatedly, it wasn't so much of one.

A few days ago at Praetarium, other WHM kept on dying for some reason, solo healed Ultima while feeling like such a boss for making it through it alone. Face palmed IRL when dps later pointed out that I was on cleric stance the entire time.

Edit: Technically didn't solo heal, summoner helped out!

Yeah but gear's really no indication of competance
Ive had some amazing runs with low geared /badly "what the hell is he wearing a dress for" geared tanks ..so far the worst ive encountered has to be the Paladin in shiny endgame armour and relics in sastasha...i'm on my thaum at the time and figure he'll know what he's doing..so he gathers up a bunch of mobs and i give him a good 10 seconds (thundering etc) before opening up with the aoe...
Apparantly he wasn't using flash to "teach us a lesson" and when we pointed out that an elderly grandmother with a wooden stick could have held agro better he went off on the usual "ive done this and that i know everything you people know nothing about tanking" spiel...obviously not noticing that everyone else in the group had at least 30 levels of tanking classes
So to be honest?...give me an undergeared inexperianced tank/healer anytime...at least they're usually willing to listen to advice and be reasonable

So yesterday I was running CT with a PF-ed party. I had run this once before this nightmare run so I thought things would go smoothly. After a few wipes due to people suddenly losing their brains we get to Acheron where the WHM in our party DCs. We're in alliance B so traditionally we're supposed to be the one pulling the boss. I figure, it's Acheron, this boss doesn't actually do anything flashy that needs intensive healing so I tell our MT to pull the boss. Instead of pulling, he starts arguing with me about it's impossible for me to solo heal it. Seriously??? Aside from the fact that I'm WAY overgeared for that fight, any healer that's competent could solo heal that fight and still be sipping tea while doing so. Then the OT jumps in like I'm the bad guy and starts talking about how hard CT is and that people are running it for the challenge. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? I was ready to bash my head against a wall.

In the end though, we ask Alliance A to tank Acheron to which they agree. Soon after pulling, one of their healers and tanks proceeded to get pummelled to the ground somehow with the healer repeatedly dying. This left the second healer to mainly solo heal the fight. Besides that, the fight goes smoothly and we finish the dungeon. I really should've rage quitted the dungeon when the tank started insulting my ability to heal an easy fight but I had a friend there that I couldn't ditch either. <.<

Wow, can't believe anyone outside of a troll saying that CT is a challenge, when I run it on WHM FC members hop on their undergeared healers to dps and have me carry them. Though it is kind of surprising when I see other parties hovering at much lower health, or when I dps or tank seeing healers struggle. My healer buddy in FC often runs it as dps and immediately regrets it... So I guess I can understand people thinking that healing the dungeon is difficult based on the healers they see in there.
