ahh man i'm kinda so glad I saw this thread lol I also have sky fibre and have the same issue since early in the week(excalibur server) and felt frustrated cos when I asked in game if anyone experiencing this problem and I was the only one. If its not fixed by monday i'm prolly gonna have to buy a month on pingzapper or just tell my coil group that I need to reconnect every 1 hour lol.
I spoke to sky and they said it was a SE problem and then I spoke to SE and they said it was the isp lol. Please fix this SE or contact the relevant isp's to get them to fix it cos they wont just fix it based on the word of 1 customer lol
From SKY too and suffering since Monday. They say its SE =/ Sigh.
Guess I should cancel subscription
I just Tweeted them, hopefully that along with emailing them and posting on their help forum will get some attention.
I got a reply but *Linda* the Sky help lady said she can't help.
Second edit; Linda from Sky said it is not a problem from their end as my internet works fine in all other respects.

Add me to the list. Sky fiber in East Anglia. Lag spikes since Tuesday.
Unbelievable. It's amazing that even after so many people have reported the issue, they're still refusing to acknowledge that there is a problem.
It's hard to see your tweet on the @SkyHelpTeam feed, as there are so many responses. Do you have a link?

Guys IT'S NOT SKY, neither FIOS. Don't you get it?
I'm from Italy, a random ISP called MC-Link (which is a business internet provider, so a good one in theory), I have the exact same issues.
Is SE releated, 3 different providers all with the same issue there is something wrong, definitely not a provider-specific issue.
It is provider specific. Only certain providers in each country are being affected. In the UK, it's just Sky. In Italy, MC-Link (and any other unreported ones). In the US, it's only certain providers. Same goes for any players in other countries having the issue.Guys IT'S NOT SKY, neither FIOS. Don't you get it?

Take the UK for example. No other player on any other ISP other than Sky is being affected. I know a bunch of people on different ISP's that haven't had a single issue.
Now this doesn't mean the problem lies purely with the ISPs. The problem is occurring with the route that your data takes to get from your ISP to the game servers. The best way for this to get fixed is for both Square-Enix AND the service providers to acknowledge the problem and communicate with each other to produce a solution.
I kinda feel this is an SE problem. My daughter has talktalk in her uni house and is having the same issue since the same time, and there's BT customers affected too.So there are other players other than sky users affected as well. When I called Sky last night , the lady said the tech team will be investigating it and SE also said this when I rang them last night.
I was talking to a sky rep for close to 2 hours "Juan" He checked everything out and said it was 100% on SE part. He's tried changing my broadband to low ping "gaming latency" or some B/S. C'mon SE 3 days is more than enough.
