This was from a long time ago but I just have to post it.
It was my second time running Qarn just to help out since I was feeling nice and wanted to be a good WHM. I decided to Derp Finder it which was a huge mistake. We had a PLD, BLM, BRD, and me as the WHM. When we get to the first boss that's when everything went bad. First two attempts the BLM decided that getting doom off wasn't important at all so he kept dying. Our third attempt the PLD died because they didn't burn the bees.
At this point I was getting a little annoyed but I stuck with it. Subsequent attempts ended with the BLM dying to doom again. He decided to blame me for his death claiming I could Esuna doom off. I lost my cool at that point and just went off on him. I left after that. I still feel terrible for doing that but I just couldn't take it anymore.

Worst experience: tonight. Tank admits it's their 1st time playing the game. I offer to give advice on what to do (other team members were new to Brayflox). Tank declines to 'experience it all first hand'. W/ that tank runs off to the 1st mobs only to run off to the NEXT mob set & gather their attention too, quickly killing all of us at the beginning of the map. Some how make it to 2nd boss. Rest of party seems frustrated w/ tank & I explain what tank needs to do/stop doing or they'd be kicked. They ask to be kicked. Set up dismiss option. For whatever reason the other players refuse & we're forced to continue.

2nd boss we dealt w/ multi death of tank forcing me & 1 DPS to fight. Tank returns to tell me "remember to heal me so I don't die." At that point I had just enough of their shit. As if I wasn't already working my butt off for a player who didn't care what they were doing, to be insulted like that was the last straw. Had to abandon my first dungeon run ever :,(

Just before entering Garuda Ex, the party leader double-checks to make sure that the tankers know who they're pulling. MT with Garuda and Suparna and OT with Chirada. Typical strategy that I see a lot. Main tank confirms he is okay with this. Off tank says "Suparna. I always pull Suparna." he was pretty insistent, so we said fine, we will kill MT's Chirada first before getting Suparna off the OT.

Fight starts. Sisters split.

Garuda is with the off tank. Main tank has Suparna and Chirada. Honestly though, I blamed myself for this. That same off tank was the same person my coil group had to pug who said he was very experienced yet said "wtf which one is it?" when the snakes split (four times wipe for the same reason, I might add). Me and my optimism. lol

Jumped into an AK run with a group on Demon Wall. We wiped once or twice and I noticed the DPSers keep staying on the goop. I told em to stay off and i keep seeing them staying on it too long. Healing is a chore, don't make it harder for me.

Aurum Vale with 1st time Tank... who actually did quite well with 1st time BLM and Allagan geared BLM.
But now that snooty Allagan geared BLM... >:[

Every time a fight went bad (pulled too much, tank losing aggro here and there, aggroing adds mid fight), she would stand back, do nothing and wait.
We survived every encounter, but she'd do nothing intentionally and wait for the party to wipe so she'd stay free of aggro.
She'd finally start attacking on last few trash mobs.

Also previously in the Goldvine boss fight she died and seeing that she's the better geared DPS, I raised her so she could put down some much needed DPS.
Nope.
I didn't notice the first time when I raised her but the BLM ran away out of healing range(!!) and refused to DPS until she was healed up.
I flat out told her to die and (effing) stay dead(!).
Raised the other BLM who promptly resumed attacking with everything she got and we cleared the fight.

Found out after when she shot her mouth off that she was waiting for heals and wouldn't DPS without being topped up.
B*tch please.
Because she was obviously so much more important than the under-geared tank who was running all over the place and in need of priority healing more than her.



I was so glad I was a Scholar at that time. If I were a White Mage, I'd be oom and have repeatedly wiped.
Aetherflow really helped replenish MP as the fights would drag out quite long with one overgeared BLM not doing her job >:[

Did an AK via Duty Roulette with a well-geared WAR, a really well-geared DRG, and a newly-50 BRD. Pretty sure the DRG had Allagan pieces, too.

Where to begin...

LB wasn't used even once during the entire instance. Not once. Even begging in party chat, "PLEASE LB" over and over to the DRG gained no response.

He killed himself by standing in one of the stone dudes' frontal line attack.
He came within 2% of death by not once, but repeatedly standing in the purple shit on Demon Wall.
And on the last boss, he stood in Tail Swipe repeatedly, and never hid for Imminent Cataclysm or whatever it's called. And when I tried to heal him? He'd run around to the other side of the damn pillar.
He also dropped the orb on top of the boss so it was hitting the tank.
Oh, and he never - not once - left the boss to DPS the adds. He expected an undergeared BRD to do it for him, I guess. And me. The healer.

I finally was like, "Welp, he must want to be dead." And stopped healing him.

He died after that. He waited about 20 seconds, but my mana is valuable when I'm having to DPS the boss for an idiot. After about 20 seconds, he released and ran back. As I was kiting the orbs and the gargoyles around, I saw him being murdered a second time by the Dullahan that we hadn't killed.

The Bard died twice, but at least she was switching to adds. The tank killed the boss himself.

Had a WP the other day...we get to second boss without many problems, but there the "fun" begins. We clearly didn't have enough damage output, cause the adds stayed around too long and we wiped. One of the bards, nice but maybe a bit new or not very geared, died everytime she was aimed because the adds paralized her. And was the one targetted the most, so it felt a it like Odin, constant ressing. The other bard, who hadn't talked for the whole run...kept on Mage's Balld <.< With everybody at full mp too. We tried telling her all the ways to take it off, and she answered..."I need it" =|And also keeps saying "use miracle" and I kept thinking he really needed a miracle...The tank doesn't say a word in all this, and since we keep wiping the dying bard feels guilty and says she'll leave so we can get a better dps, but I told her she wasn't the problem and left myself. No idea what's been of the others. It was ridicolous.

Just because those scholars can´t play their class to the max as they hit Aurum Vale and do not play it again as they can. If you are familiar with microing your pet and know your skills, AV is a walk in the park.
