I am also planning on transfering servers. After some research maybe gilgamesh will be good it has a healthy population. Its also a role playing server there not sure what that means exactly.

All I know is that many of the players are active and make thier own events.

I'm in Balmung Legacy NA and at times there's so many ppl chating you can just grab popcorn and have a show when waiting for a run :P btw a role playing server is only good for ppl who like doing it role playing server means ppl who talk like npc's and pretend there in the game think of it like a play:P

What in game is there to do for people? The games content structure is designed to be eaten like a candy bar, so people don't have much else other than dailies or roulette's.

That's assuming all people do everything on Monday, for me and plenty others there are reasons to log in after Monday. Many of us don't have time to cap everything and whatnot in a day.

Chat in my FC and the English LS I'm on is often very busy with people talking about all kinds of things! And this is on Atomos, a relatively low population JP server. I'm guessing every group has it's culture? Some are incessantly chatty and like to do random crazy fun things while others (I'm guessing) just focus on business? Not everyone likes a continuously scrolling chat box.

In terms of content this is a 1 day a week raiding game with 1 hour a day map/dailies solo content at the moment

Balmung seems pretty lively during the day and dies down extremely early in the morning. I have 2 LS and my FC so my chat log is a rainbow of different color conversations.

To be fair, Balmung is the best and sexiest server. So if you aren't on Balmung I don't know what to tell you.
