Oh if it helps I'm live in the eastern US so I'd prefer a NA server at the least and a east us server if they have those with any people on them.

Oh and as decent as Balmung sounds.... isn't that a legacy server that is ONLY available if you played 1.0/ the original ff14? If that is so no matter how good of a server it is it's more than a bit stupid that people tell people that should show up there when probably less than half of the people playing played 1.0

The only server restrictions go the other way, assuming there aren't overpopulation restrictions. People on Legacy servers cannot transfer to non-Legacy servers. Since you're on a non-Legacy server you can transfer to (and create a character on) any server you like.

The game feels dead and with a lack of a real community and that saddens me as that is really roughly half the point. If there is no community why don't I just play a cheaper(no monthly fee) single player game?


It might be just a server issue. However I hate to spend the transfer money just for the new place to be just as dead.

I'm in Lamia right now and it feels like a ghost town community wise. Are there much better servers for this that people know of or should I just give up?

Welcome to modern MMOs. There is no community when you can go 1-50 without ever saying one word to another human being and can sit in town waiting for duty finder to pop to find everything else including top tier gear (minus the ilvl95 weapon)

If soloing wasn't a viable option past the low lvls and duty finder never existed (they could have put in party finder on day 1) this problem wouldn't exist
