Steel Cyclone isn't 300 potency. It's 200 potency that ignores the 25% damage reduction, which is a 33% increase in damage. It's effectively a 266 potency attack, not 300, so it hits about as hard as Storm's Path.
It's always been 200. I remember because it always hit softer than IB. I can understand a lot of people misremembering it because, honestly, no one in their right mind would have used SC in 2.0 so it being useful (and therefor worthy of knowing the stats on) is still a novelty.
I used it in one particular instance before 2.1.. The trash pack before final boss of AK. Succubus, 2x hound light and soul collector. Bloodbath>Vengeance>Berserk>SC then OP spam lol (Flashing while pacified :P)It's always been 200. I remember because it always hit softer than IB. Probably could of used it more on WP, but nobody wanted a war for that. And honestly I hated running it anyways. Still do.

Teach your healers to ensuna you.. "while pacified" becomes a nonissue.
I think that's already been discussed ad nauseum. Nice when it happens, but I'd rather them focus on keeping me alive. To expect healers to catch Pacification every time is a little unreasonable. Now if it was 10 seconds, then yes, they'd better be on it. 5 seconds is too trivial unless you just don't know when, and when not, to use it. (Oh Sh*t, adds just spawned and I'm pacified)
I mainly mentioned that because of the sub-argument over cross-class skills between Kitru and Paikis on the preceding pages.

Have they fixed the bug yet where awareness blocks heal crits? Because until that happens even on my PLD I will never touch that skill.
