Anyway...OP...*rubs eyes*
Considering Leviathan is coming soon...I wonder if swimming will have anything to do with the fight.

But lalas can't swim! Look at their stubby legs and arms!
He doesn't mind us conducting trials so close to his bazaar, so long as he's properly compensated... Yes, Portus, we pay him in sorcery-blasted bird flesh. - Cocobygo

Sqenix wouldn't know open world immersion if it bit them on the ass.

I've seen several new Jesus on Leviathan's Limsa. They fall through the cracks of time and space and begin [strike]walking[/strike] standing on water. I throw rocks at them and the occasional lala.

I should have clarified. I was referencing another point brought up, the reason why the world is so small/ instanced is because of "PS3 limitations"
Yet GW2's world is instanced and zoned up as well, is that because of a console limitation? I think not
Yoshi has actually addressed the possibility of swimming in the future, so it may come about eventually.
He also talked about how the first two expansions will be Sea and Sky themed, and he was undecided on which to do first. Things related to swimming may come about with the Sea expansion.

Am I the only one who would love a dolphin mini game a la FFVII? Preferably before fighting Levi.![]()
