I'm tired of waiting.

I know that SE put the cap to keep it from the ends of the spectrum from getting too far apart, but seriously, I have so much free time right now.

I don't think that hardcore players should be held back just because of someone that has to work all week and isn't even going to hit the cap anyways.

I actually feel that more people will quit from the frustration of waiting for gear due to cap, than just getting everything they need and moving on to the next job.

Also, Coil should be allowed to be done once a week per job. Tired of going through coil and not getting anything.

Free time =/= Hardcore, I work all week at a demanding full time job and cap my myth with ease (as do many, many other players) so your point is invalid regarding that issue. They are not going to remove the gating on the top tier gear, end of story. In addition I'll take gating any day over RNG and random pop timers, does anyone really miss getting up at 3am to camp HMN only to lose to whoever has the greatest new claim-bot?

Perhaps you should level up and gear a tank job to show them how to do this as it's so easy? This would also serve to fill some of your ample free time that you stated you have. You cannot blame other players for failure to obtain new items and progress in content, there are several paths of gear progression and even though you can not kit out your job with BiS in a week does not mean you cannot have several serviceable jobs available. I have two coil capable jobs and I'm working on a 3rd, as we are on the same server I know there are several FC's out there you can join that will help make this happen.

you act like your the only person with a job in the world, hate to break the new to you, your gated + have to wait for a rng so you lose two times. SE allowing you to play 4 times a month is even worse.
i can get my relics with no restrictions just requires doing stuff thats how a game is supposed to be. gameare not supposed to make you sit idle for 6 days.

removing the cap means nothing no one is forcing you to sit and and play 24/7

Hardcore is simply playing a lot... In that sense, I am one.

I'm also tired of all the lockouts... I'm not heavy on progression (dragoon and scholar are my best geared jobs, on item level 80), but I'd like to not feel punished for playing the game on its strength and having a lot of jobs.

Myths to gear it up? So, you just want to skip right over DL armor and jump right to being top tier once you hit 50? Other people have done this, and they seem to not know how to dodge wheel on Garuda Ex. But really, what is the point of all the elitists here crying cause they cant max their gear in a week? Seriously, this would be the worst thing for the game as a whole. There is already a significant enough gap between casual decent players and those who seem to fill up party finder. If you get your way, it would be nothing but min req of ilvl 90 for all parties, because if you played well, you would already have full myth gear. Plus these ilvl90 parties would do nothing but wipe anyways, cause spamming speed runs and capping gear would not magically gain the skill needed to dodge extreme primal mechanics.

No, I wouldn't skip DL, I would keep what I needed until I got the BiS from coil.
