PVP Botting

I got paired up with Comfort Luvbunny twice today. The first time our team didn't last 12 seconds, the second time, I literally said "fuck it" and immediately quit the match, because what's the point of fighting when you know your team has lost before the match even starts?

You still can win with a bot on your team...its not impossible. Yes very hard but just quiting least get some exp and marks

It would be nice if the GMs would least give us an update like "yes we are in the process of gathering all bots for a 1 big ban or something. Leaving your players in the dark is one of the worst things you can do

Pretty much this, when they take the time to lock threads with *.gifs in it they could maybe make some statement in regards to bot-farming Wolf Marks aswell.

Not worth it. If you lose despite everyone on your team pulling their weight, then there's nothing shameful about the loss. You're advocating that people who don't contribute in a meaningful way should be rewarded for being the load. That is wrong on so many levels, and a party would kick that person in seconds in a dungeon run. There is no reason why PvP shouldn't have a similar system.

There was a similar problem in MWO not too long ago, people were dropping into matches, then not participating, knowing that they would get the base C-bill reward regardless. The devs response was to force players to participate in order to receive a reward of any kind, they also padded rewards for various actions performed, so that the most efficient way to earn money and experience was to actually play the game. Perhaps they need to consider something similar for this game

They know everyone hates them, and they use Busy status to block all the rage tells that they would be getting. I've reported them a bunch of times and even managed to talk to a GM about it. I haven't seen comfort recently, either s/he hit rank 30 or has gotten in trouble.

Been playing in the 30-40 brackets on my fresh bard, bots in like 80% of the games, basically.
Dunno if they stopped queueing 50, but they're still around, and probably will be until the next big sweeping ban wave.

That's how games usually do bans, but I think taking the effort to go after the PvP botters would be better, rather than just waiting.
It hurts having them around, especially for a new pvp community. :/

I think its HILARIOUS when we win with a bot healer and its a 3 man premade we were up against. And saying they have to contribute to get exp and marks wont solve any. There are already tank bots out there that just follow 1 target and spam abilities and nothing less. So now you want sch bots to stand in the middle and let the farie heal? Because thats whats next for healer bots if that type of reward system happens.

still no word from SE on this? ive been having to make myself log in lately from all the bullshit trouble from SE, lag and now this. ive never seen botting impact a game as much as this and SE is just setting on their hands and face apparently if they cant event post an official response.. fuck this game I quit

I love you DJ, but there's no way you're going to win with Comfort/Blade on your team, since they're healers. The only way you win is when you're a coordinated 3man dps queue (like you usually queue up as) that can wreck the other healer before anything happens. Solo queue people have 0 chance.

When I queue up as a WHM I despise seeing these guys on the other team. It absolutely ruins the PvP experience, I don't care if I get more marks from it, knowing that you're not going to have a real game because these toolbags are running bots and ruining 3 other people's experience just leaves a salty taste in my mouth.

It's sad. This has been going on for weeks and ruining thousands of games - There has to be something done about it.

p.s. - I've won games with both Comfort and Blade on my team. Depends on how bad the other team is.

I actually won playing solo que. I believe if im not mistaken Dan was with me on one of those wins. I barely play with 3s anymore. Its not hard if you are able to global the healer as a smn. Literally 3 shotted their healer and used rest of my cds to kill another dps. and now its a 3v2. I do not make anything up. Hopefully some of the people who were on my teams as we won will back me up but if not oh well. Im saying its not impossible to win. Least give it a try.
