Alrighty, I'll update the main post with this list and the new stat weights in a bit, unless there are any serious objections

Just a quick edit for the 465 Accuracy set:
Score with Deviled Eggs HQ (472 accuracy): 695.01172
Score with Buttons in Blankets HQ: 698.70036
Added it to my post as well.
The set with 475 accuracy, using Buttons in Blankets is still highest DPS hitting that 472 accuracy cap, oddly enough.
I guess it's because of the new weights of Determination, A whole 0.1 was added. That's a big difference imo.

Likely, but that would only apply to T5, and even then only on the adds which you'd have maybe a 0.1% miss chance on around 460 accuracy. Every other encounter in the game would benefit from lower native accuracy on gear. Then you can just use HQ eggs to hit the cap on Turn 5 and suffer an almost non-existent dps loss compared to 472+buttons. Alternatively you could just use multiple sets of gear, but that'd get a bit nuts.Just a quick edit for the 465 Accuracy set:

It could also be possible that the very low miss % on adds isn't even worth caring about compared to everything else (Twintania herself included). I didn't miss Twintania at all at 459 accuracy, and had somewhere between a 0.1-0.7% chance to miss the adds, which upon reflection I don't think really matters at all. Perhaps I'll try parsing again tomorrow night with low 460's for accuracy and see what happens. It's possible that's the cap, and the native accuracy on gear could be in the 450's for the rest of the encounters in the game.

I have the same mindset. Having a 0.7% miss rate, once a week, for 5 minutes, doesn't really warrant us to completely switch out side. However, it's obvious that the Accuracy Cap is closer to around 460-465. 463, could, very possibly, be the Accuracy Cap (if I remember correctly, someone parsed 0 misses with 463 a few pages back)
Also, the accuracy cap for Turn 6+ will most probably be in the 470-480+ region. I think it'll be safest if we save up for a mid-470 BiS to prepare for 2.2's accuracy cap, then work back downwards again.
Can't wait for your parses tomorrow with low 460 accuracy! Thanks for your work.

Just seems like the hygeia have the highest acc requirements @ over 470, everything else is between 460-470.
I dont know how other groups deal with the snakes but in my group we just let the smn bane DoT the first 2 down to about 60%, then blm LB2 when all gathered, after that will be 2 left at around 30% and 2 stacks with smn DoTs on then the blm double flare to finish them off, I normally use dragonfire dive here also but thats the only time im hitting hygeia really, so the acc requirement for them using this sort of set up isn't important to me.
Not doing coil until Thursday this weekbut will parse @ 463 and post results again.

I'd preferably like to see parses of someone who's wiping on snakes several dozen times, along with a detailed snapshot of what abilities they're missing with and what target those abilities are aiming for (e.g. a miss against "unknown" due to targeting when invulnerable is not meaningful).
By dozen, I mean 30 minutes of raw snake action, which is like 10 attempts on snakes. ... multiple times, for each level of accuracy.
RNG is RNG -- if the context here is aiming to pick out the 0.5% miss rate when you drop below an acc threshold, it's absurdly easy to simply RNG a 100% hit rate even if you're 5 or 10 or 15 below the acc cap.
Oh I'll be confirming repeatedly once I think we've found it. Can someone post whatever gear calculator they're using to figure out BIS stuff?
And preferably explain how to use it if we wanted to see what's best depending on which pieces we currently have. More or less just how to remove whatever pieces we don't currently have from the equation while still outputting the "best possible" set available when still having multiple pieces to choose from in a given slot (or more).
I just think it'd be nice to know what's "best" at any given time instead of just the "end all be all" so it would seem useful to be able to use whenever since the whole point of BiS is to find that small difference which should apply at all times....right?
If so, thanks.
Not sure if this list is updated. Based on calculator, this set gives 472 acc, 481 crit, 303 det.The following list was calculated by KrystalF (thank you!), and the discussion surrounding the list and T5 accuracy caps can be found on pages 101-103:
T5 BiS GEAR
Total Stat Weight: 658.635
Weapon: Allagan Spear (T5)
Gloves: Allagan Gauntlets Of Maiming (T2- Left Side Chest)
Helmet: Wyrm's Armet
Chest: Wyrm's Mail
Waist: Hero's Belt Of Maiming
Pants: Wyrm's Breeches
Feet: Allagan Sollerets Of Maiming (T5)
Neck: Hero's Necklace Of Slaying
Earrings: Hero's Earring Of Slaying
Wrists: Inferno Bangle Of Striking
Ring 1: Vortex Ring Of Striking
Ring 2: Allagan Ring Of Striking (T1 - Right Side Chest)
Food: HQ Deviled Eggs (2% accuracy, 5% crit)*
What I calculated after modifying my pre 2.1 set gives 474 acc, 484 crit and 331 det.
Allagan Spear
Allagan Visor of Maiming
Wyrm's Mail
Allagan Gauntlets of Maiming
Hero's Belt of Maiming
Allagan Trousers of Maiming
Allagan Sollerets of Maiming
Allagan Choker of Maiming
Tremor Earrings of Striking
Inferno Bangle of Striking
Vortex Ring of Striking
Allagan Ring of Striking
Of course, comparison stats are including HQ Devil Eggs
