    It's possible to maintain GL3 across nearly all mechanics and transitions in Titan EX, but it takes a lot of practice and, in a few circumstances, balls of steel. Also if you get RNG gaoled, you need to rely on the other DPS to bust you out within 4 seconds.

    How do you keep GL3 on the jumps in Titan EX? Can keep it up in every instance of that fight except that one. Even continuing the rotation right when he lands I have yet to not lose it during that.

    When you know Titan is about to jump make sure you don't interrupt your combos with ToD or Fracture, even if it means dropping them. Almost guaranteed me to never drop GL3 during jumps.

    Yeah no that doesn't work. I don't use fracture... ever and I don't use ToD when I know he is going to jump. I lose GL almost 100% of the time when he jumps and that includes Hm version. The only time I keep it is if a jail happens to be up for me to hit a few times.

    The only way people are keeping up GL is if they somehow are not getting the "target is moving and cannot be hit with melee" thing that FFXI/FFXIV does.

    I hate the duration of GL buff.
    GL duration and the very very situational silence of Arm Of Tthe Destroyer and buff removal effect of One Ilm Punch are the only things bothering me when playing MNK.

    Always losing the buff between mob groups and in trials (Ifrit dash, Garuda jumps, Titan jumps) is not fun.
    You don't make friends if you always attack mobs before the tank and in primal fights you can't do anything to speed up the phases during which you can't attack.

    A GL duration of at least 15 seconds or better 20 seconds would be nice.
    Or change it to a buff that weakens over time.
    For example: GL3 -> 12s -> GL2 -> 12s -> GL1 ->12s -> no buff

    Uh, I don't get that because I know how to compensate for the poor positional latency in FF14. You need to track titan's movement ahead of time and make sure your attack arc covers both his current position and his position 1 second in the future*. Generally speaking, if you attack immediately as he lands you'll also get a clean attack off before he begins moving. No big deal.

    * It's even more entertaining as a Dragoon since a flank fail at that points you lose significant DPS until you succeed the flank.

    Because of rotation forwarding. A fracture deals more damage than a snap punch. But a snap punch forwards your rotation and as we all know we need to keep up our rotation so all buffs and debuffs stay in place. But in a moment before you have to disconnect from a boss for so long that all buffs and debuffs will run out anyway, the rotation forwarding advantage of snap punch falls away. This can be enough so fracture pulls ahead, especially since TP usually isn't an issue in a fight with such a mechanic.

    You need to learn to position better and predict Titan's movements. Titan will always run back to the tank after a jump, use that to your advantage.
