Titan Extreme is NOT Fun

I hope this is not what the developers had in mind when they created Titan. As I said before and I strongly believe. Titan X is a community divider.

Is it not already dividing the people into 2 main camps in the forums? And I believe this is just the beginning.

well u dont actually have to do it if u dont want to. just saying. its not part of the main storyline.

Actually there are way more than "2 camps" on this topic here.

There are those that think it's hard and fun
Those that think it's easy and like it
Those that think it's stupid and boring
Those that think it's too hard period (though I haven't seen many of those, more like they didn't like certain mechanics in the fight, arguably the same mechanics that make it "hard")

Those that think it's unplayable with delay
Those that think it's totally playable with it and are fine with that; those that think it is, but are not

etc...

And mostly, the trolls
(those that think any of previously mentionned "camp" are either elitists jerks unwilling to face the truth because of a sense of superiority, or just bad players who want everything handed to them on a silver plate).

At this point in time. There is nothing else to do. I am locked out of Myth, CT, BcoB fast each week.

I cannot find good parties (in and out of FC) for Ultima to massive grind. The good ones grind extreme. And I sick of grinding up new classes, only to get stalled at ilvl70.

Do dailies. Help FC, etc.

Garuda X farming and Titan X is all I have left in the game. Not doing Titan X means not progressing. Because I want go gear up my characters.... And other then primal runs, I have no means to do so.

Give me more content that allows me to gear my toons up and all is good.

Part of the issue with Titan X is that there is near nothing else to do that is meaningful in anyway. Other then to sociallise with FC and help FC members. Which get boring after awhile especially when you do not get rewarded in anyway except someone passing the duty, especially if you have done the same content so many many times.

Easy fix is easy: make falling off the platform impossible (by changing Geocrush so that it drops rocks around the edge to shrink the combat area rather than removing material from the dais) and make it impossible for more than one Weight of the Land to hit a single player. Adjust other mechanics upward to compensate for this change (i.e. make being hit by Landslide do considerable damage and stun for a long period of time).

yeah unfortunately this is pretty much what we went through during the early days of release. people stuck on titan hm for weeks. it'll get better in time. but for now u should try PF on the first few days after reset. thats when the good ones clear their ex primals for the week.

and i have to say no for this suggestion. titan ex is not hard. u just have to be in a party where everyone knows what they're doing.

As a healer, I HATE Titan. I so want to gear up my DPS so I do not have to heal people.


It has come to the point that I see of the group of 8 players, as 4 headless chickens, 1 "HEAL FASTER DARN IT" backup, 1 "keep on dying" tank and 1 "get the aggro off me ...." off tank.

Also why can't DPS JUST STICK together. My "lack of" reflects as a middle age man means I have less room for error, especially with graphics delay and lag. And special people that cannot stand properly are like trolls, hecking around with me.

Lastly, darn it Titan X is too chaotic. At last phrase, I need a sec to orientate myself especially with dps and tanks dropping like flys. Between, crazy screen full of graphic delayed stuff, looking at mana bar, looking at party heal bar, healing cooldown (have not found perfect group that only need 1 medica 2), weigh of land, landslide, bombs. It is pure crazy and just that one tiny mistake by me/anyone wipes that party.

As a younger man, I might have found tiny margin reflect game fun. But nowadays, not anymore.

And since after all the weekly lock outs, there is notthing else to do to get gear. Guess what I need to do for progression....

As I said before . Make it hard to get top tier items but not Titan X grind hard. Reserve such content for vanity items that is same a BiS but allow elites to show off.

That way all will be happy. The Elite Hardcore, the Casual Hardcore, the Casuals, etc.

i would recommend u to go in as the tank if u want the least amount of work. on another note. cure 3 is better for this fight than medica2. provided that your party knows how to stack properly

I am trying but the weekly lockout, aka inability to get gear more then once/twice a week, is making it slow to gear my tank up.

Healing Titan and Ultima HM are probably the most fun fights for a healer.
