    Ah, thanks for the correction the website I checked was incorrect, I pinged the actual servers and still had the same results. Obviously it's not the same thing as running an MMO but it shouldn't be so drastically different.

    Unlikely since every other online game that connects to the US works just fine (200ms~) including TERA and DOTA 2. I'm fairly certain that this is specific to FFXIV.
