Exactly this. There are quite a few players who can't or aren't interested in doing coil. If there was nothing comparable for them to achieve by different ways, why would they play? Hardcores would say, "then they shouldn't be playing anyway." But SE disagrees. They want to continue selling games and subs to these people. Like it or not, SE is a business, and they want to sell to the broadest number of customers possible. And that is their choice to make.
