Why Does Titan (Hard) Make People Dumb...

The only thing I hate are people's excuses for why they cant dodge. "lag" being the prominent excuse. You can't use that excuse anymore! Not since 2.1 up'd the response time on character positioning!

There are also people who are worse off now than they were before the patch. Not to mention this only sorted the 0.3 check, not ping or lag. People had so much lag that landslide appeared on their screen about a second later than it should, resulting in them being knocked off. Someone has a signature of them being extremely far out of Landslide yet still being knocked off.

Lag is still a huge issue for some people. The only thing the update helped was peoples abilities to avoid plumes. I, personally, have never had lag issues in this game but it's undeniable that people have them and it isn't always user-side. One of my FC mates lives in the same country as me and has a much faster internet than mine, yet has bad lag that he didn't have before the update.

Generally I don't understand why gamers of today love these types of mechanics. I rather not watch the floor when I am in a fight. I would rather concentrate on playing my actual character and using my abilities. But seems I'm in the minority on this, and people love dodging deadly shapes on the ground. I don't know why.

No, you can still get nailed by lag. My last run of Titan HM I got hit by a landslide at damn near a 45 degree angle from where it appeared. What's interesting is while it is better sometimes, the times it fails to properly register your position seem less predictable. You can have perfect dodges three times in a row, get complacent, and then bam, lag spike/death. Also things are definitely worse since the patch for FIOS customers for whatever reason - I watch them lag all kinds of interesting ways on my screen too (you see it a lot in CT). Often while coming through loud and clear on teamspeak, so it's clearly a SE <> FIOS connectivity issue.

Anyone that thinks Titan HM is a trollfest will be happy to know Titan EX is the same but way worst. Am just about sick of this one horribly made fight screwing my primal ex weapon progression.

If this was a single player game and hosted on my PC, it is one thing for such a fight. But with all the inherent issues that comes with MMOs and internet connections, this is just a plain bad boss mechanics.

lol theres still lots of lag in game ive seen ppl walkin at snails pace tryin to evade weight of the land etc.. even slower then some1 with the heavy debuff ;/ titan HM brings out the ahole in alot of ppl seen some ppl really abuse the ehmm out of some1 for a simple mistake ;/

personally my first few attempts i literally s****** at the tactics for titan hm but like every1 with practise u get better so some ppl should b more understanding of others.... after all if u want a pro team make it urself, alot of ppl use df to learn n get experince for dungeons not to b pro on 1st attempt ._.

what really annoys me is ppl leaving after 1 wipe blah blah blah considering im dps its a long wait via df sometimes so i dont mind wiping once or twice if the team fails.....

after all the pre made teams in servers only want experienced ppl soooo if the 1st timers or less experienced cant even do titan HM via df without gettin hated on how the ehemm they gonna get experience anyways ._____.

yeah thats my point... that sort of attitude of only pros and experienced really annoys me , they should bring in a master and apprentice system with rewards soo more ppl take the time to train n help others in those end game dungeons

ppl should take the time n b more patient espiecally via DF when majority of ppl who use it want the experience or r 1st timers, dont hate on some1 cause they die its easy to make mistakes every1 does it... any who says otherwise is speakin out thier backside ;/


is it the casual gamer/ newer ppls fault some ppl rush to end game n have had more time to practise on the harder bosses? no so why hate on them call them dumb n stuff ._.

I'm not sure what some of you are referencing when it comes to only Pro's. On Balmung I regular see PF's up for both the "Pro's" and "Learning" groups. Learning is part of the game, I love the people who say they passed Titan on their first or second attempt. In 95% of those cases your butt was either carried or you did it after getting 90% of your AF2 gear because I'm sorry watching the vid's and doing are 2 different things.
