I assume latency issues is a big part of it.
I've never been below 200ms on any of the servers I've played on.
They really need to move their European data centers to Europe, or at least closer than halfway across the world.

People are used to avoiding something and then being able to do their epic dps rotations for a while. Too bad the plumes are already there mid cast, people cant react to that as they must stare at their cast bars or something.
Love ya'll... but seriously
I don't think Titan makes people dumb. I do think that mistakes are very noticeable as it generally will get a person killed, and at times in a situation where they can not be ressed. People come into the fight untrained, and they fail. At this point comes the divergence: Either they player will run to the forum and cry about it claiming lag, cheating mechanics, bad net coding, atmospheric bio-metric pressure, ect. Or people look inward and find out that the whole fight is choreographed and every move is predictable and avoidable, they learn it and move onto the harder content.
Once in a blue moon you will be put in a situation where you are gonna die... just make the choice to die in a place where you can be ressed. Those situations happen very infrequently tho.
There are too many relics out there to say that the fight is unbeatable. So many relics that if you are 50 and do not have your relic you are in the MINORITY.
Never said the fight was unattainable, this fight really elevates play compared to any encounter before. The intent of my original post was just a curiosity question more so then a b%$&#ing session. This fight is extremely predictable. The rotation never changes no matter how many times you play it. As of late my issue has been finding parties that can beat it. I am not sure if there is a more recent influx of newer level 50's or what. Understandably there are some times where you will get hit by an AoE, got it. The issue I have is that the system requires a full team effort at least until p5 (from a death perspective), and in p5 from a coordination perspective. The simple lack in willingness to listen to instructions or follow as part of the party is insane. For example, I get it P5 is fast and can be a bit hectic from time to time, but if a party is stacking all through P1-P4 all of a sudden in P5 they forget and just start running around crazy like.

After the 2.1 positional update fix, Titan HM became about 100% easier. My FC routinely fails/has messy kills on Titan HM because we have a lot of people who have latency problems (a number of European players as well as people with poor internet connections), but after 2.1 it became much easier.
Titan's still a bastard, though. EX Titan's going to be even more of one. Like Turn 4 in Coil, it's one of those fights where if even one person messes up it's just about game over.

Regarding P5 stacking, I know that on a default hard drive (5400 rpm) for PS3, waiting to move until after the Weight of the Land appears has a very high chance of killing you. The Weight of the Land tends to show up late AND in P5, the extra number of objects delays the game. If you aren't already moving when this starts, you will most likely eat it.
There's also a strange delay in P5 during bombs and landslide. Bombs tend to slow the game down, but once his Landslide is up, the game stutters just a bit more.
It's entirely possible to do the fight "flawlessly" on PS3. But it may often mean screwing over your team mates in the direction you're moving in. Casters have the luxury of sprinting which will bypass this. Archers can repelling shot a tad early.

Which ps3 model are you talking about Fiosha ive never had anything like that with wotl, if graphic effects are slowing you down you probably shouldnt be looking at your harddrive?
Only ever had problems on an old fat ps3, it would drop to about half framerate for 2 seconds while the bombs exploded, which doesnt cause you or your team to die cos nothing else dangerous is happening

I bought a slim PS3 about a year ago. When I described the other problem to other PS3 users, they said it didn't happen on there's, but the only difference that I knew of is that they replaced their default hard drives with a 7200 rpm or an SSD.
Like in Coerthas FATEs, if it's too crowded and I go to instant cast say Flash or Regen, the game does not perform the animation for four to six seconds later. In Praetorium, the game slows down pretty when fighting the mobs. Where targeting another player or an enemy may take about two seconds longer just waiting for the interface to update.
On four-man content, I don't experience this delay.
The only thing I hate are people's excuses for why they cant dodge. "lag" being the prominent excuse. You can't use that excuse anymore! Not since 2.1 up'd the response time on character positioning!
Actually they CAN use that excuse still. It may not be lag on the server's side, but from their connection's side. Thus lag is still a valid excuse, because if their connection wobbles, it was indeed lag for them.
