    Dear Mr. Moose.

On my quest to learn as much about the lands of Hydaelyn as Miqo'tely possible, I am very happy to contribute to what I can discover! You are right in that, sometimes F.A.T.E and flavour text creates some confusion in regards to classification of certain animals (though, I am so impressed that the Pudding and the team took the time to correct the errors which have been pointed out in the localisation forums! I encourage everyone to flag these errors in a polite way, to better this game for everyone!).

What I would like to clarify though, is if this bestiary is for fightable monsters only (which seems more manageable to me), or, is it inclusive of things like hover worms (items) and animals with significant evidence provided in text/dialogue (which seems quite taxing...)?

Just mobs (for now[?]). The game mechanics and lore work well together to flesh out a nice wiki bestiary and we've got a great deal of the infrastructure already done. Finding missing information and correcting errors is the only time consuming part left. Someday, I'd love to link mob actions to specific mobs, as well, but for now I'm just focusing on organizing taxonomy so lore, drops, and abilities start organizing themselves without much manual work.

Even then, there will be slight discrepancies between actual biological taxonomy on Hydaelyn, the Eorzean biology upon which we build the bestiary, and the actual final bestiary used in the wiki. For instance, the Imperial "species" mentioned above that automatically groups all the Imperial mobs so their drops and locations and such are all nicely organized.
