I like the concept of survival mode too but more of an instance or gauntlet type zone where there is an objective to get to the end of an obstacle course with multiple levels or mobs and content, indoor and outdoor, party and solo, battle and non battle encounters with speedrun options and non. Including the new treasure maps would be cool also. It could start at lower exp levels and end at max level content. They could make it possible to rejoin and map your progress as you go at various landmarks. Achievements and rewards for time trials and completion at various exp levels.
