SE phone support is horrendous, it'll get you nowhere but a one-way ticket to rageville. Your friend is kinda boned, and he kinda deserved it. Buy a new copy or play a different game.

Technical Support section was really the best place to post it out of all other sections. To bad there isn't a customer support thread. He only deserves it if he used the money he spawned, which he didn't and i'm more that willing to risk my account for it. He found a game breaking exploit, he reported it, got in contact with the senior GM in-game who told him to put everything in a retainer, to not touch or delete it, since the tech devs needed to investigate it. He did exactly that, and for a month after the GM told him to leave the items in the retainer, we played together, had fun together, made a little FC together and so on. He only got banned a month later cause of the automated bans SE pushed out to anyone who had over a few million gil, so of course from leaving all that money in the retainer like he was told to, he got caught in it, so really, he wasn't suppose to be banned in the first place :/
None of the hacked gil was ever traded, used in any way. The only time he traded me money was just a few hundred to afford travel expenses, and out of his own earned gil from selling his blacksmithing items in the market, so i surely hope the investigation proves his innocence on that part. Why keep someone who did good and meant no harm, used none of the money, banned?
He doesn't want to just "buy a new account". He's spent hours since late closed beta working on blacksmithing and Weaver to get them to 50. I believe he spent more time than i did on his character D:! We aren't going to drop this nor will we give up. He wants his account and his character back. He is also the master of our FC. His account has the preorder and collector's edition bonuses.. Just. We aren't giving up. We already got the Senior GM Jhanaka to drop in and leave a post on page 3 saying thank you for stepping up for him and that we will investigate his account to make sure the proper steps were taken, and i really hope by what he meant was to make sure he used none of that money and unbanning him cause of it :/
To Mister/ Miss Jhanaka (D: Sorry, don't know since your avatar is female..), how does Mister Sirs know when, how the investigation is going? How does he get in contact with you? Is he suppose to wait for an email, or open up a ticket addressed to you? He's been checking his emails and account everyday but doesn't really know what to be looking or waiting for.. We are pretty much left in the dark with nothing but the reply of you saying you his account will be investigated to make sure proper actions were taken with his particular case a week ago, which we very very much appreciate! He just wants to be updated on the investigation, is it looking good or bad on his part, is there still that little light of hope that his account may be unbanned? Have they started to investigate yet? >.< Ohhh i know i should be patient but eeee, i have these holiday items to give him and playing without him is lonely..
I'm in no way trying to rush you or anything.. Just a week has gone by and he hasn't gotten contacted yet, and not sure what he's suppose to do at this time, so i'm wondering if he's suppose to open a ticket you may contact him through.. Or emails.. No idea >.<

Rawrrior, any news with your friend? I noticed the GM responded but they weren't very clear what they were doing or how/if they were going to contact your friend.

Nope, nothing as of yet. His account is still banned, he has not been contacted in any way by SE. Hell, we don't even know if they started their investigation yet :/
I've posted a few times on here already asking how will they contact him, if he needs to make a ticket with certain information so Jhanaka can pick it up so Mister and Jhanaka can talk about the case.
But i guess we must have patients.. As well as keeping this thread alive.
