Dubont, like I said, there are no specifics on the specs, but according to RUMORS:

The GPU will be running on something from the ATI 700 series chipsets meaning this:

It will use GDDR5 RAM (already more powerful that PS3) and will be 512MB instead of the 256 on the PS3 (and the major problem with the port to the PS3 (with this game) was the RAM wasn't strong enough

Its already announced that it will be a multicore processor, but if you know anything about consoles the bulk of the work happens on the GPU, it will be more than likely a 6-8 core processor just like the PS3 (infact the PS3 while having an 8 core proceesor only uses 6 to run games, one is completely locked out and the other runs the system stuff)

Considering all of your info on the new system is based off of rumors, of course I'm going to take it with a grain of salt. Also, years of Nintendo always having inferior hardware just gives more of a reason to doubt that their new system will be anywhere near as powerful as even a $1000 Macbook

you can't compare a console with a PC/MAC. 2 different architectures. If you look at plain number and compare it with a PC it won't mean anything. A console with specs that are half of what your PC is will always plays games a lot better then ur PC can.
