Wow.. Square Enix is "looking into it".. where have I heard this before? xD

Hopefully they'll make good use of the system though, it would be nice to see a major FF game back on a Nintendo system.

its not like we are wanting it now, people are just saying that once the PC version is good to go, and the PS3 version is out, it would be nice to see it released on Wii?: U as well.

Attended E3 this year and had hands on time with the WiiU.

I can definitely see it working with the new controller since it has enough buttons to support gamepad functionality. It can still play the game normally on the TV while the controller touch screen can be used for maps, macros, touch activated actions, touch keyboard, clearing widgets off the TV and onto the controller touch screen itself, etc. If the TV is in use it can optionally be played on the controller screen itself too. It is completely practical.

Although yes, I largely agree the PC platform is a priority before moving onto other platforms.
