I don't think any game should allow auto regen of HP while IN combat.

Also, as an archer, I never run out of arrows since they changed arrow stacks to 999. Not once.

Its not just running out of arrows, is that being an Archer should not be more burdensome and costlier than the other classes. Unlike the other classes Archers need to buy arrows in order to fight, while none of the other class require the spending of money to fight. What makes this worse is that better arrows cost more money further increasing the expense of being an Archer. None of the other classes are subjected to this cost so to me Archers should not be penalised for using arrows.

I think the idea of archers needing to buy/craft arrows is that the archer is a really strong class. It's probably one of the strongest damage dealing classes in any MMORPG and FFXIV is no exception to this. I feel that this is what brings the balance with respect to having to buy ammo and having the potential to become useless in battle when they run out.

That does not sound like good balancing to me. There are better ways to balance a class than to make them useless because they are short on funds. The stamina bar can be one way in which you can control the rate of fire of an Archer.
