Lol i love going onto my 3rd job (i have one in each role) which is DRG in only ilv69 gear and out DPS'ing ilv80 BLM's just by rotation xD (of course only the ones who arent whizz kids, which seems to be alot of em /fates)

as for my question being answered.. yes i love being STR i am just wondering if it would be different and more desirable to be VIT.. i dont fully understand stats that well.. which is why i am asking..

i do have oh shit moments as WAR.. but.. what would 20 more vit do? allow one more hit before the oh shit moment? i guess yea thats more time for the healer.. but.. seen as i can tank in the DPS rotation i actually am out DPSing some DPS in long fights lol meaning i am speeding fights up, so less healing overall.. opinions is what i need lol

Unless things have changed STR works in tiers. In other words you need to hit a certain number to achieve the next % damage increase. So technically you could be wasting 20 STR and still not hit the next tier or you hit the tier by 1 point wasting 19 etc.

Mitigation is effected by STR (parry). This again works in tiers and do you really parry that much to warrant that 5hp extra you parried?

Going full VIT doesn't just mean more hp. It effects several things such as Thrill of Battle and Lustrate. Not only that your HP will tick 9hp (I think it's that) more every 3 seconds. Which doesn't sound a lot but that's 900HP every 5 minutes (which is a lot more than you'd get from a slight parry mitigation increase).
