Serious problems with PvP across the board

1) "Fresh Meat"

Not a "serious issue." I dont mind the anonymity, but it could be like "mysterious Paladin" or similar.

3) SMN

You're just bad / you don't know how to deal with them. SMN has ZERO defensive skills. They are by far the squishiest class in the game and the all damage interrupts really hurts them. Focus them and they drop like flies. SMN isn't broken, I didn't even read your paragraph because you're just wrong. Learn to play and you'll see SMN really isn't so bad.

2) Sleep

Get purify. Get sleep resistance. No problem.

6) PvE/PvP shares hotbars

DO you need every single hotbar for PvP? I don't. There's only a few PvP actions, it shouldn't be a big deal.

7) 2min wait time to enter

No, I need the time, I have 1min cooldowns that will reset during that time. It could be reduced to 90 seconds but it is valuable time and should not be wasted.

9) No way to practice

You practice by playing. There isn't a ladder or anything so what does it matter how you learn?

8) Stun locks are also pretty crazy

Everything has counters. Use purify when you get locked down. subsequent stuns/sleeps will last much shorter.

5) PvP actions bound to ALL classes

many actions are usable by multiple classes. This isn't a major issue.

Your entire post pretty much boils down to not knowing how to play pvp and expecting it to be just like pve.

crowd control has it's place. Without it everyoone would be literally running circles around the arena all day long.

I'm not afraid of it. The nerf hammer won't hit me because it's not needed.

SMN is not OP. Period. They are the easiest class to kill in the game, and I know THAT from experience, both on the giving and receiving end.

EVERYBODY QQs that the class that beat them is OP. One minute, SMN is over powered. The next minute, BLM is. The next minute, BRD is. Pretty much the only class nobody complains is overpowered is PLD.

It's extremely easy to stack the deck against any class and say that its overpowered (oh, this class has this and that and this. OP OP OPPPPP!) But everyone just looks at that class in vaccum, not how well it works in a team comp, and they don't look at what the class doesn't have (in this case, HP, defense, protective abilities, etc, unlike BLM which does have these things)

I can do the same thing and cry "BLM is OP b/c it has sleep, a short range teleport, can mitigate physical attacks, has high dmg, bla bla bla." "MNK is OP b/c it has easy to use stun and this and that'." in short, you can play this game with basically any class.

Not really, just as many people cry about crowd control and every job that has a good CC is OP. BLM in particular is QQ'd about just as much as SMN.
