2.1 WAR PVE First impression

I'm guessing you've never been to coil? Every fight is a two tank fight and WAR/PLD is simply superior to PLD/PLD now. Its certainly doable with PLD/PLD but why take more damage, gen less threat, and give up some limit gain? Warrior brings storms eye, storms path, and allows for full LB gain.

So just take a deep breath, and read carefully : I said end-game raids had no room for off tanking, prior to testing 2.1 raid, because :
Titan is a 1 tank fight
Coil are 2 tanks fight

Off tanking is tanking something weaker than the real target, and require less resistance. For example, for Garuda HM you need an off-tank for the red linked one. For Caduceus you need two tanks.

For the rest, I really hope you're right, I didn't run coil or 2.1 raids since patch, since my FC still do it with 2 plds, so I can't tell if 2.1 was enough for this. I was just giving my impression I hope you're right thou

I'll be brief...

Titan, warrior is superior. 30% DR on every MB on top of our HP is brokenly strong. PLD's don't have a CD for every single MB. WAR's have rampart for every single one without touching cooldowns.

Coil, its less than optimal to take PLD/PLD. Not sure why this is even a point of discussion.

Lastly, even mentioning HM garuda in this thread is pointless. Want to kill garuda? Hit level 50 and go duty finder it, just about any gear level can get carried through it even as a tank.
